does the DMV check ur emergency lights when u are about to give a Drivers test? they usually ask where certain things are located in ur car, but i wasn't sure if they check the emergency lights.

In CA, the DMV will check all lights on each car before allowing the driver to take a practical test drive. Especially important are BRAKE LIGHTS, HEAD LIGHTS, and TURN SIGNALS both front, rear and sides.

Depends where you are.
Some places, they check all the lights, horn, wipers etc. before they even get in the car.

Yep. They need to make sure that they work and you know how to turn them on.
