I have the worst luck. I finally got a new car and today I was driving and my a/c stopped working and I kept hearing this noise. I was driving through down town Fort Worth, so I thought maybe it was just the noise around me (they were doing construction), but I got home and the noise is worse, (it was my car). When the a/c stopped working I smelt a burning smell. Could it be a belt? The belts don't look like they are running right. I'm afraid to go to a mechanic and get a diagnosis because I always get ripped off and I want to have an idea of what it could be. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and any advice is highly appreciated. :)

I have this 04 sentra 1.8s So far I've put regular oil when needed but the most recent one was a mobil 1 10-30 I really don't know the differences between those numbers (5-20 or 10-30). I know they have something to do with the temperature and the 'thickness' of the oil but might still need some more info.
I've seen the 15-50 one aka the extended performance which may go up to 15k miles. I really do like that idea of that high mileage since I'm approximately driving 100 miles/day in the city of Boston. But I'm not sure if that one would cause any sort of problems. Any help is appreciated. Thank you...

What city did you buy it from. List options. Satisfied? How are the run flat tires? I heard some people hate it. I am shopping for a new car. Thanks.

I went to one last year, but the commissioner has given me the option. The alameda county web site says that the DMV will still count it, no exceptions. But I've been given the option. Perhaps they don't check before they give people the option to go to traffic school.

Also how hard would it be to replace the square tach and speedometer with 2 separate normal round ones? also, if you cant answer this you cant call yourself a real biker :P (just encouraging you)

I was at a railroad park in Rochelle IL. with a friend. I noticed that some of the "railfan" types were taking lots of photos of what seemed to be the same thing. My friend told me that they were called foamers. I don't understand what this means, but their excitement at seeing these trains was kind of hard to understand. Are these folks obsessive or something?

I have an 05 Chevy Silverado with 42000 miles on it, the tires are shot. The truck is used for pulling a boat on weekends and a trailer to haul wood in the winter. The tires have been rotated at 20K because the front tires were wearing quicker then the rear tires. I had it in for inspection and the front tires are almost to the threads on the inside only in the front any guess as to what may be causing it?
