I ride a 1997 ninja zx-6 and this is not my first low side, but i dont realli know much about checking for mechanical and technical things. I checked over major areas like the clutch cover, etc. and there are no leaks. The bike does start and changes gears, but there seems to be something off and can't quite figure it out. Also there seems to be something off with the alighnment of the bike and suspension. How do you check for these errors and other errors. Is there a checklist or something. I would rather not have to take it into the shop unless necessary because it gets rather expensive. Please can anyone help me out?

A bus driver was heading down a street in Colorado. He went right past a stop sign without stopping, he turned left where there was a "no left turn" sign, and he went the wrong way on a one-way street. Then he went on the left side of the road past a cop car. Still - he didn't break any traffic laws. Why not?

I only had £100 on me and the guy in the office said the damage wouldn't come to that. He took the money and said they would refund the difference so I would only pay the actual cost. Now I've received a letter from their head offer saying that if I don't pay the £400 extra to make up the excess they will take me to court. I think £500 is a bit much for cosmetic damage. So what do I do?

Ok. Im really confused with my car loan I have. My car insurance was cancelled and they said I have to pay 1800.00 on my premium. I got nervous about my actual car loan I had out on that car. So I called my finance company up and asked them about what would happen to my car. They explained to me that nothing would happen to my car. But they would have to put insurance on my car which was going to be very expensive until I could get full coverage back Now I have recieved a letter of default from the company???? My payments are up to date i am only late 3 days by 170.00 my reg payment is 364.00 so I dont understand why I am at defualt

It sounds like it is coming from the rear tire area. There doesn't seem to be any uneven wear on the tires and it doesn't affect handling or driveablity. It's like a low whumping sound that gets faster paced the faster I drive until it's like a steady low hum on the highway. What could it be?

I've been wondering if some companies fuels are better for mileage than others, and if the octane rateing is worth the extra cost for improved mileage. I drive different routes to different job sites, so can't keep an exact record over the same route every day.

I picked up a 14 ft aluminum with a 9.9 hp motor, with trailer for $400 Canadian at an estate sale. The motor works great. I've never owned a boat before, is this a good deal? I think so my wife disagrees.

See i dont actually know what i'm looking for. I took a fun, relatively informal sailing course and at the end was told that I was welcome to help out next year if i brushed up on my theory. I guess that means i'm well enough in the wee boats when i'm on the water... but i don't know enough about why i'm doing stuff.

My knowledge hits an all time low as soon as the boat is out of the water... rigging etc. Unfortunatly most of this is just due to lack of practice... i only get to sail a few months out of the year. That said, i think i could manage it if i work real hard. So, anyone know of a good strong book of dinghy theory? To supplement ample practice of course...

Cheers : )

Cheers!

I have a 97 honda civic, which is only driven around town-- and not even very heavily. We just found out that, for the second time in just over a year, our front axle boot has cracked and now the whole axle needs replacing. I understand that it is not normal that we should be replacing axles on an annual basis... what could be causing the boot to keep cracking, and is there a way we can catch it before the whole axle needs replacing AGAIN?
We live in Cleveland, and moved here two years ago... the roads here are seriously the worst I have ever seen. Could it just be that the shelf life of one boot is one year of Cleveland roads?
