In the process of trying to figure out what's wrong with my bike I've installed 2 inline filters for each fuel line out of the petcock. They are the clear kind so I can see what's going one. Here's the deal. The front filter never fills more than a few mms while the rear one fills right up to the top and stays that way. The bike runs great for the first 5 minutes then it just loses power, almost like when a plug goes bad. I'll let her sit for a while then take her out a few hours later and same thing. I'm wondering if the symptom of the filters is a hint to something that's going on and also, most importantly...

WHICH fiilter is behaving normally? Should it be filling up right away and staying that way even when the bike is off or should it always be almost empty like the other one?

BTW, I swapped the filters just to make sure it wasn't a bad one but they just did the same thing again.

In my old car even when I turned it off the power switch would still be on, keeping my xm radio(samsung Nexus) on allowing me to record my favorite shows while at work. With my new car(06 Sonata) the whole unit and power supply shuts off. My question is can I do something to allow my power converter to remain on? Please help.

Hello!
I am going to be getting a new car... and I was just wondering what type of car you would recommend...
I want something like a Dodge Intrepid, or the 2001-2002 version of the Chrysler 300...
It has to have 4 doors also.
We are looking for a new car, because we need something that gets good gas milage... instead of our van that we have.
Any suggestions??
Thanks!
:)

I thought I was being mean but they really do drive more aggressively and thoughtlessly than other car drivers. What's that all about?

Should men be discriminated against? (Car insurance)
How about blacks because BEING black is more likely though not necessarily going to have you live in a high crime neighborhood? (home owners insurance)

And here's the most extreme I've seen to date:

It doesn't matter whether I am get the big end or the little end of the stick, it doesn't seem right to me. I can understand changing insurance rates on the basis of past driving record, but for probable future record?

I've had a Subaru since I started driving 5 years ago. I love the AWD, but I'm not sure if I want another Subaru. I definately do not want a truck or SUV. I would like something a little more professional looking than a Subaru. What other AWD cars are out there?

Some friends of mine were trying to install a sub and amp. When one of them unplugged something out of my amp, everything went bad. We checked fuses under the hood and in the door, there are no fuses underneath the dash. None of the fuses were bad and I am completely stumped, any advice is very welcome. THANKS

So here's the situation, I was driving in a parking lot (not speeding at all) and the car in front of me parked in the first available parking space. The space next to her was free so I was going to park there. I waited until she was completey in her space and then proceeded to park my car. Just as I was about half way into the space, the other woman put her car in reverse and backed into the drivers' side passenger door and rear tire of my car. She got out of her car and said that it wasn't her fault. She said she was trying to turn around. What's it matter what she was trying to do, you still have to look behind you before you back out into traffic. What if I was a person walking? The police officer did not give us a copy of the accident report. I don't know if he gave her a ticket or not. Is she 100% to blame? Is that cause for a ticket?

Don't give me because it costs too much and they cant afford it. I think it's the price of having a car. You wouldn't get a car and say "well tires are expensive, I can't afford them" you just need them. The point of insurance is to be able to afford to fix any damages you may cause to another driver's car or person. If I wrecked someone's car I would certainly want the other person to be able to get their car fixed or replaced. And if there was injury I wouldn't want someone else saddled with huge medical bills because of a mistake I made. Is that just me?

It has 135K miles on it, and usually runs just fine. Not used a lot since it has become the teen car when they start driving. When driving the car and it gets to 1/2 mark on the temp gauge it shudders, shakes and dies. She will start right back up, but when putting her into any gear, she shudders, shakes, and dies. After letting her cool, she will start and run well until the temp gauge gets to that 1/2 mark again, the same thing occurs. I am a mom with new teenage drivers. I love this car and think she will be best to start and learn on until they can get a car of their own. I am not sure where to start getting her fixed, but not put more money into her than she is worth. Where do I start looking? Thank you so much for your help! Have a great day!

I'm having trouble getting it up that fast since an accident with some locals and a low tech projectile ruptured the fuel line. I could repair it but I haven't been able to procure any fuel.

We have already tried towing it with horses, my friend is pretty sure even the fastest horse will only get us to about 25 MPH.

Since I bought my bike a year ago, I haven't done much to try and learn basics but the thing is I don't even know how to start. And it's really hurting me because problems with my bike are coming up now. I thought the best way is to make friends who ride and hang around them and pick their brain. But even in La Puente where I live I don't know how I can look up bike riders (online or classifieds?). Any words of advice on how I can get a good knowledge? Thanks.
