How do you enter a freeway driving a manual?i know that it depends how traffic is going?

how about when your going uphill like the one in Hollywood frwy

I personally go into fourth just so i don't have to down shift going onto the freeway...and if you are going up hill if you get enough speed up the hill you can be in fourth or fifth but if your RPM s go down to about 1000 then you should down shift.
