What is the minimum age at which you can get a Class C driver license without either driver education or being a hardship case. I though it was 16? What is it I have to answer this for my driving permit.

The best thing would be to call the DMV in your state. They will have the righ answers for you. good luck on the test.

The minimum age varies by state. You can't get a license in any state without passing a driver test and having the proper amount of training as set by state law. A hardship license refers to someone who has lost a license due to something like driving under the influence, and gets a restricted hardship license to drive only to work. It is not a license given to someone under age.
