Personally, I never had any trouble driving on the freeway. I was on it right the day after I got my license.

I guess what you're lacking is confidence. Get on the freeway and stick to the right lane. But watch out for drunk truckers and road rage drivers.

Hehe... I prolly scared you there.... didn't I?

Before signing up for what classes? If you are driving in the USA you should have already had your classes. You start here with book learning and then a permit that allows you to drive with a lisenced driver until you reach a certain age level and have been on the road for a certain number of road hours which always included learning to drive interstate. If you are an adult you still need the certificate that says you went to driving school and are an experienced driver. That still has to have road hours and written tests. Then with either of those cases, you still have to go to the lisence bureau and pass the written exam and road test to get your lisence to drive. If you do not have these, and are driving in the USA, I suggest you get off the road and go to driving school.

Start out on a slow day maybe a Sunday and just relax,I would stay in the slow lane so you dont have to compete with the faster vehicles. If you havent already start practicing on two lanes parking lots etc in getting familair with mirrors.Finding your blind spots, really get to know your car.If you can learn to use your mirrors properly it will help you in everyday driving as well.Just think about how the semi drivers get in and out of tight places and get up to docks,Mirrors

It depends where you are. In Los Angeles, freeways can actually be easier than driving on the city streets during "rush hour." Stay in the middle or right hand lanes (but pay attention, right hand lanes often turn into exit lanes) and you'll be okay.

no, just start over the way you had first started. Get comfortable with it. Im sure that you were nervous the first time you did it, so just think of it as your first time, and drive on the side roads to get comfortable with people driving with you.
