Thanks for your answers, i will be testing them at Autozone tomorrow but will that explain why my car is cranking and popping in my exhaust? Timming chain is good, crankshaft n cam sensor are good. Thank you.

A bad coil pack will cause the car to act like it is starved for fuel, with the engine mis-firing. You may also get backfires, when the unburnt fuel is pushed into the exhaust system!

The primary cause of coil pack failure is bad plug wires! Replace the wires with high quality ones. Pull your plugs. Most likely you will find that 2 (one on each side of the engine) are fouled or full of carbon! These two will both run off one of the three coil packs. Trace the wires back and replace that coil pack, and you will be amazed at the difference!

While you are replacing the wires, replace the spark plugs! It is not that much more trouble, and you will have fewer problems later!

a coil pack is like an electricly controlled distributor cap. sensors tell it when to fire into the wire then to the spark plug. if its bad then you car will missfire. i think there is 2 plugs to a coil so it will prolly missfire pretty bad and shake pretty bad.

if their bad it is going to run badly and not have a lot of power, you would also notice the gas mileage dropping a lot on it,sometimes it could be hard to start also, and stall out for no reason,it would also be sluggish on power ,it may also get a miss-fire on one or more cylinders that you cant get out of it,any of these signs may mean you have one bad, good luck on it.

They give high volt to yer sparkplugs. if bad - weak or no spark. Check ALL connections before you spend $$$ to replace. Good Luck
