Ahh Yes, the infamous Chevrolet Door Pins!!!

I also hope you purchased the little bronze bushings that need to go with them.

They replace just like the hinge pins in your house.

You are going to need to open the doors and find a way to relieve the downward pressure on the door when its open to be able to tap the pins out.

I normally use a floor jack with a long piece of wood along the lower edge of the door then have a friend hold the door steady while the pins are removed then replaced.

But if you did not get the little Bronze bushings, you are going to need them to get the door re-aligned properly.

If the Parts Bloke knows what we was doing, he should have sold you those too when you bought the pins.

There are two pins per door, and 4 bushings per door, making a total of 4 pins and 8 bushings.

Good Luck!

Knock the pin up . tilt the door . install bushings with flare to the other hinge. Reinstall new pin . Install spring with screw driver. It is alot easy to remove hinge and do it on the table but you got to adjust the door then.
