is the problem that the car won't come out of Park or that when you select Reverse that the car won't move in reverse? If the problem is that the car won't come out of Park, the problem is with the shift interlock system. The typical cause of that problem is a bad brake light switch that doesn't close the shift interlock circuit. You can check this by seeing if the brake lamps work when you can't get the car out of Park. If they don't work, replace the brake lamp switch and that should fix your transmission interlock.

if the car shifts out of park and into reverse but the car doesn't move then the question is, does it move in Drive.
if it does, then check the fluid level. ost often the cause of no reverse is low fluid. if the fluid level is good, then the question is what condition is the fluid in? does it smell burnt? if its burnt there is usually internal damage to the transmission.
The problem could also be a gearshift linkage problem if it shifts into reverse but doesn't engage the gear.

the shift solenoids you replaced determine when the vehicle is shifted into the gears as you drive down the road. they change the flow of hydraulic fluid through the transmission passages to give you the different gears. They are not the cause of a no reverse problem.

I know one of these answers is wrong because I don't understand what you're trying to fix.

hope that helps
