I used to work for them a few years back and I will say this they think very highly of their policy holders and the claims department is extremely responsive. They also have a A rating last I heard for financial stability. which is very important if you want to make sure they can pay on a claim for you. You can get a lot of information from AM best standards and poors go to www.ambest.com before you choose the insurance company just for there rates. A lot of local company's have such little reserve funds they could go under at anytime!

I've been with them since I was 20, and I just turned 60. Very efficient, well run company, some freebies, some special deals and offers, very comprehensive....24 hour hotline...but NOT the cheapest company around. the Price may not be Worth it unless you have a fairly new car and want replacement at 100 percent should you total it or have it stolen.

I have had GEICO insurance for 25 years. They are the best company. They handle claims fast. Try them. If you don't like it, cancel and go with someone else.
