Do you know where I can get a part for a Sherman Tank. The valve lever for one of the pistons broke in two, and the closest place is two hours away and its a pain in the butt to move it by flat bed. Any help on where I can get the part? I can put it on myself. Thank you

Use one of the good valves as a reference to have a new one made. A good machine shop will have a hand held PMA (Parent Material Analysis) Tester that can provide a non destructive analysis of the material required.

It will probably be a lot cheaper as well.

There were a number of engines fitted as you can see by the accompanying link. Find out which one you have and go looking for the part. It will be a lot easier to make an on site repair than to haul the tank to a repair facility.
