Make sure the belt is tight enough and is not weak , Run bu auto zone and get them to put it through the electoral test and that will let you know If alternator is putting out and is in good working order, You might have a week Dido or you could have an open ground , If you think the alarm is killing your battery try this remove the fuse and see if the battery is drained over night , hope this helps.

It could be the alarm system, or it could be a relay sticking and that will drain the battery. A quick run to an auto electric repair shop will let you know what is going on.

If you have an ammeter, take the pos lead off the battery and hook it in series with the positive battery cable. Take a reading and see what current draw you have. Start pulling fuses one at a time and have a friend watch the meter and let you know when the current drops. That will be the circuit that is giving you a problem.

good luck with it.

You can buy them a lot of places... wal-mart, autozone, costco, k-mart,napa, even the Ford dealer... You will be looking for a 65 series battery... This refers to the size of the battery... The higher the cold cranking amps IMO the better... Usually I pay a little more and get the 850 cca batteries normally used in starting Ford diesel trucks (however they run 2 to start them) as I find they last many years compared to a el-chepo like some get (with 420cca) that kill in a year as it's the wrong battery (but it's cheap as they say)

There is a drain somewhere. Possibly a short. You need a good auto electric mechanic.

You need to take it to someone and have your electrical system checked out it sounds like you have a short in your wiring somewhere.
