Since you're asking this in the motorcycle section, I am assuming you are asking where to keep your motorcycle registration and insurance. I have a small tank bag on mine, so that's where I keep my stuff. You could also keep them in your riding jacket if you wear it all the time. That's what my brother does. I suppose your wallet would work too if they fit in there.

I keep a photocopy of the registration in the glove box of my car and in a ziplock baggie under the seat of my bike. The insurance I keep with me in my wallet.
I liked the idea of laminating a copy of the regsitration for the bike I may just do that.

I put them in a ziplock bag inside my owners manual in the storage compartment or trunk of the motorcycle. When the vehicle sits or I am not going to ride it I take them out. I am a 04 ZX10 and a 06 ZX6.

I keep a copy in my jacket pocket and a copy in the toolkit of my motorcycle. So far I have never needed them.
Ride safe and hopefully you won't need to show them either.

I keep my originals in my wallet. If you do loan your vehicle, check to make sure the borrower has a valid driver's license & is insured themselve's. Make a copy of your papers & write a signed & dated permission slip for them. It's called CYOA.

In my wallet with my license.
It's the best for me. No one else rides my bike, so they don't need to produce it.

I always leave mine in my car in the glove compartment locked up. You need those with you in case you get a ticket, car accident weather it is your fault or not and etc.
