Just use the OEM Harley stuff, or is there something better for V-Twin motors? Also how often do you guys change your oil? I put on about 5k per summer and figure change it at the beginning, middle, & end of the riding season. 'Bout right?

I use Harley chrome oil filter, Mobile 1 V twin 20-50 oil, and Royal Purple 70-140 in the tranny, Synthetic oil doesn't need to be changed nearly that often, I change mine at the beginning of the season, and a thourough going over, adjusting, oiling greasing polishing and all the good stuff, put stabile in your gas before putting it up is the most important thing.

you should be able to go up to 5000 on a oil service if the fluid level is properly maintained and the motor is running well. I personally change at 4,000 with most miles being on the highway and have good luck with HD 20/50

I'm running a S&S Evo, and change oil/filter every 2500.
