I'm 17 and I hate driving with my mom. She's hates everything I do! She tries to give advice but instead she screams at me and nothing makes sense. Today, the green light changed to yellow and I had to stop really fast. I was too far away to go through the light and too close to make a smooth stop. And she screamed and shouted that I have to stop doing that. How can I keep this from happening from me?

For my husbands birthday I want to paint the inside of his garage. He built it by himself and on the inside used what I think is called masonite. It is really dark brown. The garage needs lightened up and I would like to make it some kind of color theme. He is restoring a 68' Mustang in his garage so I want to make it special. I already bought him a fridge, and tv for it but I want to make it something he can really enjoy. Any ideas from you car guys as what kind of paint I should use on masonite, what color, what kind of theme. I can't afford to paint the floor yet but will someday. He is such a hard worker. He works two jobs and is now in the process of putting on a new roof all by himself. He won't let anyone help and I just feel bad for him. He talks about needing to paint the inside of garage someday so it doesn't seem so dark. I really want to surprise him. Thanks for ideas

My standard transmission 2000 Sunfire will only start if the gas pedal is pushed down. Also it will only run with the gas pedal pushed down. (It dies when the pedal is let up)

Is this a fuel pump problem? Or what else could it be?

Thanks,
Sean

I'm about to turn 16 and i'm going to need a car b/c my parents are divorced. I saw the new Jeep Patriot and I thought it looked like a potential first car. It's an SUV, it had good crash test scores, gas mileage is 26/30. Does this seem like it would be a good choice???

I've no idea how to work this out with a fair degree of accuracy.

I'm flying to Estonia from London
Getting trains from there to St Petersburg
Train from there to Ulaanbaatar (trans-siberian express)
From there a train to Beijing, and then finally to Hong Kong.

I can find flight calcualtor websites and distance calculators - but nothing which will give me the distance by train.

Alright well,i have a lawnmower and it wont fire. The brand is Hydro 16 Agway. The batterie is old but it still works(it just needs to charge for 10 minutes before you can start the machine). When i turn the key,it starts to turn over, but it won't fire.I REALLY need to get this thing working!I went to 2 mechanics but they don't want to look at it.This must be fixed ASAP because I am forced to cut 10 acres of lawn with a push lawnmower.

I was wondering if I can use my power adaptor from a Netgear router to charge my motorcycle battery. The specs on the adaptor are 12V @ 1A 12VA - So all the figures are good except I'm unsure if the charger is DC compatable.
At the top of the adaptor it says AC/DC - obviously it works for AC but does this mean it will change DC into AC if necessary but not vice-vera as I need it too?
Thanks

I use semi-synthetic oil, which is good for about 10000 km (15000 miles?). But the last time, I told them not to change the oil filter. "There's no ned to change it verytime", I said. Now I'm worried about it. Can I have real problems because of it? Should I go and chnage the filter before something wrong happens? Or is it just a detail and you don't really have to change it everytime you cnage the oil? Thanks.
