I have heard/read mixed rumours of this machine I love the look of it and the sound of it. I have never had the chance to ride one but would appreciate anyones opinion of the bike, especially owners
or previous owners cheers.

they got that rumor from a headshake problem fit a steerin damper on it and dont worry about that. The rear shock has some issues as the other guy said but only if your on the track will you realise that. Overall they are a awesome bike with killer sound

The biggest thing with sports "v"twins is the engine braking, meaning that when you shut the throttle the bike dives as if you have grabbed the front brake, this requires a different approach to driving and some people just dont manage it, and find them too demanding physically and mentally, all said the TL is a monster that needs treating with respect and fitting a steering damper and some suspension mods will solve any of it shortcomings, but by now most of them out there have been tweaked that little bit by their previous owners, great bikes not for the faint hearted.

Owned one for 2 years, great bike, for a twin it sure liked to rev, always found myself going insanely fast, maybe because the bike was so uncomfortable. Sold it for a Honda VTR 1000, a bit less power but way more comfortable and better built bike.

Amazing bike, I have owned a TL1000 and the TL1000R, Both were excellent bikes and I had no trouble at all.

Problem lay with the rotary damper overheating and the damping going AWOL. Damper can be re valved by maxton or another suzzie expert. Go ahead and buy one, they are not the deathtrap people would make you believe.

Great bike, great sound. Expect current 600 in-line four performance out of it. Would love to have one not many good ones left out there.

Gorgeous bikes but also a death trap as unfortunately one of my friend's found out after he had a nasty accident on his some years ago. I'm afraid to say he lost his leg.

depends who is riding it. if your carefull and know how to handle the thing its an amazing bike.
if your trying to beat the land speed record then its a death trap (especially when trying for the speed record around corners).

Great bike...flawed, but still great. As with any bike, take it easy and learn to ride around any flaws you find.

if u are a rider with at least a year of handling a bike of this type on twisty roads, u'll be ok. but if u are a rider with zero miles in the saddle of a bike like this, this will be the machine that will put u in the graveyard. only an experienced rider will be able to get the most out of this machine, but never on the street....only on the track. dont be a dumazz and try to wind this thing out on the street if u want to live.
