The long stripe along the side doors that says "Mustang." Is that painted on, or is that just a sticker that is removable?

not all of them have that stripe....
get it to the body shop and they will remove it fore you...
not a big deal.....heat it up and it will come wright of.
get a gt (V8) so you dont need to worry about the stripe.

I detail cars In Florida professionally one of the things I offer Is pin stripe and decal removal. I know from experience that all the new mustangs can have the decal packages removed easily. And if done professionally with no damage to the paint.

It's a sticker, not paint, but as far as "removable" it depends on how it was put on. If it's part of the design package then it was put on at the factory before the final top clear coat and is not removable. There are all kinds of decals you can buy aftermarket. I guess you could say they're removable, but I would worry that it would rip up the paint and also would leave a shadow line when removed.

Sticker and a hair dryer and patience can remove it... may need to buff the area afterwards.. but most mustangs haven't faded yet (a clear coat will yellow a little with age and sun.. it's a normal reaction ) so should be no visable lines.
