i know the fan scrud and fan has to be removed but what else come off to put the new pump on

The water pump should be right behind the fan, look at the new one and you'll know what to do. make sure you do a good job with scraping the old gasket off, this should be a really easy fix. OH, if you have trouble getting the belt off,your alternator can be loosened to give you some slack.I think that's all.

Yo guy... If you cannot look at a car repair job and figure out the things to be removed. Big Problem... Today is Saturday and if ya hurry the your mechanic and repair shop will be open He can replace the part in about 2 hours and your gona spend 2 days trying to fix it and might break something along the way. Least take the car over their so he can get it done on Monday. .. My theory is if you do not know what to do don't do it..

Buy a Haynes or Chilton manual for your vehicle. There will be a step-by-step pictorial of the procedure. Owning an older vehicle, you will definitely get a lot of use from the manuals.
