I am in my 30s and have been atheist since I can remember. I have wanted to beleive because I think it would add to my life, but it just hasn't happened. I haven't been able to find the faith. Does anyone think it's possible to try to find the faith? Or does it just exist?

that the Apostle John is the person scripture is referring to when it mentions "the disciple whom Jesus loved" like in John 13:23. I was asked this question today and would like some helpful input.

The moon seems to comfort me, and I feel like I have a spiritual connection with it. I'm not really sure why, and I would like to know if there's any real significance.

why are there so many non believers in the Religion & Spirituality section maybe we could petition Yahoo to start a section just for you guys or maybe use philosophy. You know just to be fair. By the way I sent everything through spell check in Word so if it's wrong blame Microsoft word not me.

Several psychic readers over the years have given me inconsistent visions of the future. They don't seem to agree on who my future wife is, when I will be meeting her, what she looks like or whether I know her or not already.

Do my angels have any insight into this? Can someone who is psychic check?

I mean nobody would be so arrogant to think they would actually curse at God.
But SO many people seem actually tormented at the very thought of God.

I know God says come as you are, but can casual ever be to casual when it comes to worshipping God in his sacred house. We can't be too far off from pajama Sunday or Swimsuit service.

Its just confuses me that most people would dress the best they can if they were going to meet the president of a country or the Pope or even their fiancees parents. Yet it seems for church the trend is to wear whatever and present yourself any kinda of way.

How absurd is the claim by atheists that religions cause war?If I want to worship a blue cow,I don't see why that should offend people,
The Soviet Union banned religion and they were the biggest war mongers in history.They didn't have food but they had plenty of guns;too bad their people couldn't eat guns when they were hungry or they might've still been around.

All this coddling, "You're so unique and special! You're like no one who has ever existed! You can do anything you want when you grow up...be an astronaut or a singer!" Hello? There's almost 7 billion people on this planet...You wonder why there's so much fundamentalism in America with all this propaganda. As a pagan, I get so tired of people associating the devil with my beliefs. I wear my pentacle with as much pride and inner peace as I'm sure many Christians wear their crosses. It has nothing to do with satanism or evil.
