You know I really think the Mary Magdalene story is the closest thing I've heard to being right in a long long time.
I like the story of her moving to France better b/c the church would never have buried Jesus so that his bones could be found. Paul would have taken care of that even if his disciples didn't. Not to mention, men just didn't live that long. Weak creatures. If women survive childbirth, they live far longer.
I think we overlook a lot of the sexuality in the bible. Ruth: a story about how a woman is working in the fields and a rich man finds her hot. He bribes her with food and then offers her marriage in order to get some.
Song of S-that book is nearly Xrated. How did that stay in the bible?
But the idea of Jesus in a sexual relationship is impossible? Why's that? Mary Magdalene would not have been there in as many stories as she is, she would not be the first person in the Easter story if those guys weren't trying to explain that she was Mrs Jesus.
It's good to question--not attack--faith. In fact, if you don't question it, then you are blind and have no idea what you actually believe.

Neither are good and have been debunked by scholars. The finding of their" graves" have also been debunked by Israeli scholars.
Dan Brown took his "implications" from the Gnostic gospels. The Gnostics believed that there was a God of good that created the spiritual world and the God of evil that created the material world including sex. It is funny that they would have hinted that Jesus was married and had a child since they saw the procreative act as evil
The Dead Sea Scrolls have nothing about Jesus, Mary Magdalene or Christianity.
Josh Bernstein of the History channel obtained a bone that belonged to a member of the Merovingians that would have been a direct descendant of Jesus and Mary Magdalene if the DaVinci code was correct. It showed no Middle Eastern DNA. The DNA found was European.

The best evidence points to the Magdalene being married to someone other than Jesus.
Why would she be buried with him?
And why would the Magdalene travelling to France create a faith issue?

Those questions do not attack people's faith, they attack what the first leaders of the church made up to have people believe in the same god and follow the same 'rules'. My faith is in Jesus's words and the way he taught us to live or lives in a good way and the fact that he was married and a father will never even move that faith.

Mary Magdalene was not buried with Jesus. When He rose from the dead, she was the one who first saw Him. She was still alive. Jesus was never buried again. His body ascended into Heaven. Hers did not.
Why do you want to attack my faith? Just wondering.

No, there is only the account of Jesus being entombed in the cave of Joseph of Aremathia, alone.
