Only from reading the Bible. This is one reason many of the prophecies of the Old Testament were cryptic in nature. God pulled off the defeat of Satan and his hold on mankind right under his own nose when Jesus redeemed mankind on the cross. Satan also knows his comeuppance is right around the corner. That is why he resists tooth and nail the preaching of the Gospel in all nations and tries to undermine Israel as a nation, knowing that these 2 signs will immediately precede his final overthrow. (see Matthew 24:14ff)

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

He has the capability of knowing some of the future. That is why there are psychics and tarot card readers, palm readers ect. out there. They get their information from the devil or other ungodly sources. That is why God tells us not to mess with those fortune tellers and to seek him first for the answers. Satan knows what his future holds that is why he is such a panic to take as many with him as he can. He doesn't want to be alone and he is mad that he has been defeated in his purpose for being here before he even got started.

Future- the time that will come after the present or the events that will happen then. Look it up in the dictionary. You don't have to ask Satan or devil everything.

There is no such thing as the devil or satan. It is just symbolism for the "evil" side of things. Without evil or bad we would not recognize the good.
Do you people really think there is a being with horns that lives under the earth?

I do not believe he does, as only God is All knowing. BUT, he does know his own future, his own doom to the lake of eternal fire as stated in the Word of God in Revelation. Which Esther answered so well -- this is why he is working so hard, especially in the last days to take as many people with him by his cunning deceptions!! Satan does not want us to read Revelation, as it uncovers his future and defeat.

The Bible indicates that satan has some degree of foreknowledge, how limited that might be is not made clear.

Yes. Satan knows his end will be the lake of fire. That is why he so passionately wants to take as many people with him to hell as he possibly can.
