I mean nobody would be so arrogant to think they would actually curse at God.
But SO many people seem actually tormented at the very thought of God.
I mean, it looks like you mention the name Jesus; and it's like a bunch of devils were cast into a herd of pigs on here.

Connie,
"they call out to the rocks to fall on them so that they can die (but they do not die)"
WOW! And that's what they are actually doing! And the one thing on this earth that can benefit their souls is the prayers of the faithful. And they don't even want that.

Scott,
"professing themselves to be wise, they have become fools" (God's Word)
You just don't unstand the power and the way that God operates. Niether do MANY people. It's because of pride.
You say:
"Though I do not curse God, I can understand others doing so. "
This shows the GREAT depth of your misunderstanding. I wish you well.

janet,
I'm NOT omniscient, but my God is. And I like to act like it. I'm sorry if my confidence in God offends you. You'd have to know Him to understand.
You say:
"You would look better if you didn't respond to the best blogger here as if he was a fool"
My God says: "The fool [the stupidly wicked person] hath said in his heart, There is no God" (Psalm 53:1).
I'll go with God's answer. Thanks.
The scriptures that are quoted that offend you so; are just THE WORDS of God. They only cut and offend those that are enemies to the Cross. Do you have anything to worry about?
If you're offended by my abruptness in tone; you must REALLY be offended by the evil, nasty accusations and language that your friends on here constantly 24/7 spew out toward people of faiths, religeons, even God and Jesus. Or are you too a hypocrite, refusing to look in the miirror?

I think there are allot of people who are so miserable and angry they blame God for their unhappy lives. Better to blame than to look in a mirror and see who is looking back at you. I do not think God has done nothing to these people to cause them to be so miserable. These people are scarred and don't know what else to do but to curse God.I feel so sad for them.

I used to believe, then I became educated.

I no longer believe in God.

There are many reasons one might curse at God though.
For instance, the young starving children in India and Africa.
I can tell a starving child all about God. But, what can I say to him when he asks me why he's starving. When I teach him the Lord's prayer and he sincerely prays it, is he not going to ask me why God doesn't give him his daily bread. The very daily bread he's promised by God to have.

There are many doctrinal problems for people with certain circumstances. Like those that are forcefully raped, beaten, or neglected.

If you think about it a while, we might all come to agree that maybe it's not out of the question for other people, who don't have it as good as we are, to not only question the existence of God, but to curse him if he exists.

Though I do not curse God, I can understand others doing so.

You might want to try reconciling your belief with other peoples reality. You can call me a fool all day. But your response to my comments leaves you looking like a fool. You didn't address the point. You miss the mark. If you have an answer for those starving in Africa and India I'd love to hear it.
If you profess a relationship with God, then He should have no problem telling you the reason why innocent children die every day, while he does nothing to stop it.

Instead of insulting me and professing to be above me, answer the question. It might actually make you seem caring.

A blind trust in God and abandonment to a faith that has hindered and harmed more than it has helped reveals ignorance not morality.

The road to hell is wide. Read Revelation if you want an eye opener on haters of God. The unbelievers' hearts keep hardening as the judgements come. You'd think they would call out to God, but instead, they call out to the rocks to fall on them so that they can die (but they do not die). But then again, look at the 2 thieves on the cross. One repented and went to Paradise, but the other, even being right next to Jesus, did not. This is the hardest thing for me as a christian to understand also. God bless.

I've always wanted to believe in God.

I wish I knew more.

But, it looks to me that Jay Dee just wants to look good and lord things over others. You aren't omniscient Jay Dee. So, don't act like it. You would look better if you didn't respond to the best blogger here as if he was a fool; it doesn't make you look good at all. (I'm referring to that scott guy..he doesn't seem arrogant like the rest)

What is with the guy above me with all the scriptures?
As if that proves anything people, think on your own.(If you can)

If anybody would like to tell me why they believe in God I'd love to listen to them. I am interested. Thanks.

Of course not that would be the height of ignorance to hate God. I believe you have that wrong. There are a lot of people who don't believe in God. How can you hate something you don't believe exists? Don't equate hatred to disbelief. There are some of us who hate the phony religion but we don't hate God.

Everyone blames someone for something.
God is no exception for people.
They don't understand Gods plan no one does. Lucky for those of us that have trust and faith in God, Gospels, history, and Jesus they didn't waste their lives and time for nothing.

It does seem that way doesn't make any sense to me either. I guess its hard to handle someone who loves you unconditionally and will forgive you. maybe God scares them. They might have to actually be nice to others and be giving of themselves. I guess living life without any consequences seems like more fun to them . its all very sad .

You have to believe in a God to hate him don't you?

These people don't hate God, they just don't believe he's real.

Those who believe in him have only love for him.
