When I told people that I was an atheist, someone said, "Yes, but is it the God of the Catholics or the God of the Protestants in whom you don't believe?"

I'm a Catholic; how does that make you feel? If you're a rational person, you probably don't feel much about it at all.
You're an atheist. I'm a Catholic. There are many different choices to make in this world, and you and I have each made one. I chose a life of belief, and you didn't. And the fact that you didn't is your own business.

I have atheist in my family and agnostics as well and they are wonderful people. How do I feel about you being an atheist? I feel you should give God a chance and ask Him to show himself to you He is real and He does love you.

Believe me. I'm from the school of thought that bashing other people, be they atheists or no, is bad.
I get riled by the so-called Christians who go and bash other religions and atheists and stuff on the net, even in Yahoo Answers. It's not helping our faith any.
*sigh*
But as for being an atheist...as long as you don't bash God, I won't get pissed. It's all about respect for other people's beliefs, or lack of them, in your case.

Personally I don't care one way or the other.
You (just like us Christians) are responsible for the choices you make in life.

i believe in life after death and im 100% sure its true. your atheism deep down is uncertain, how does that make you feel?
