Me, I am spiritualist, deist, agnostic, and gnostic. There is not a one word that describes what I believe.

I have seen many questions and answers (and comments) here about creation and how long ago 6,000 years vs. millions of years.

1.If God had no begining (and I believe that) That means He has been forever. If He created all things with His spoken word "POWER" (and I believe that he did).

1.When the first tree was created from (His power) if some one had checked it with modern equipment, would the tests have showen that the tree was 1 minute old or would it have shown a full growen tree of 100-200 or even 1,000 years old?

2. When Adam was created was he a new born infant or a growen man? and since he was created from the "power of God" how old were the molecules that Adam was created with?

3.The Earth itself: if a scientist had tested it right after it came into being would he have found it to be 1 minute old or since it was created from "God" who has no begining would he have found it to be 30 million years old.

Thank about that and tell me what you think.

i see a lot of people over here, bashing each of our religions, and most of them on baseless lies..i feel that, a lot of this could be reduced if we would just forget our differences and unite for a cause(i'm not saying that we all have to follow the same religious practices, or anything).don't you think we're being a bit immature and childish by fighting like this? so, what say you?

This explains it in detail. And I am not bashing, as somebody thought I was. I am defending and trying to correct misconceptions, as well as trying to teach those who missed the class World HIstory and how things were done way back then, almost 1500 years ago. His marriage was not an exception, it was common place. Even in India, as we speak, unborn girls are being promised to old men as payment or as a deal in families. How do you ignore that but go after one person? Today, the priests are raping children. You consider them holy and better than any muslim, so how do you explain that? What allows that? God prohibited it, so what gives the preists these rights? I'm not trying to christian bash, I'm simply pointing out that others have done worse and the actual subject was extremely commonplace. As soon as a girl got her period, she was able to bear children and get married. If you deny this, you don't know history.

My girlfriend of 10 yrs walked out on me 7 weeks ago, because i hadnt already proposed to her. I know it sounds bad, Yes i was planning on asking her and ive got the ring and ive told her since. She lost interest in me because she didnt think i was 100% into our relationship. I am and i did take her for granted, but after 10 yrs its very easy to do. I love her sooo much and she knows this, i talked to her last night and asked her if we hung out, is there any chance she could fall in love with me again and she said maybe but she wouldnt allow herself to do it. She thinks that i would fall back into my old ways, ive guranteed her that ive never felt like this before and i wouldnt allow myself to. We had a good relationship, we hardly argued and if we did we sorted it out that day. Ive been told by a friend to try a love spell.
Do they work and what are the side effects in the future. If its bad to make her love me, could i do one to make her realise how serious i am about us

And could only have one of two NT books (letters) with you - Romans and Philemon - which would you choose, and why ?

Thanks in advance for all considered, intelligent answers. May the Lord bring all of His people to maturity in the faith (that includes me!). Blessings.

quit shoving your religions down other people's throats(i'm not saying that everyone are) and instead wouldn't it be much more better practising what you preach?i request people who have a certain grudge towards any religion to please reasearch on it before you start screaming at its followers that their religion is false..and some of the atheists here could also be a bit more sensitive to other people's beliefs, and not just ,you know, tell them that their God and Messengers etc. are just figments of imagination, because believe me, that hurts a lot..i believe that each and everyone of us have troubles of our own, so why add to it?by being a bit more considerate, you could lift a lot of heaviness off people's shoulders..why don't you just think about it?

Peace.

I know it doesn't. No innocent person, and that includes non muslims as well, is put to death in the RELIGION of Islam. Culturally, it does happen and these people are following their own wicked and twisted agendas. It has no support from the majority of muslims, and women who are often oppressed within these cultures, NOT Islam, are also the victims. Please go to the link and see for yourselves. Please open your minds and see us as people just as you are. We have families that we love, we have great neighbors that we would do anything for, and we live in peace for the most part. Those who cause trouble and do so much evil in our name are not of us, and I do not support them one bit.

I condemn terrorism and so do most muslims. We speak out all the time, but we're ignore because there are wars going on right now. As history has already shown, after the wars, the true stories come out. You will see, after the war is over (if ever) you will see so much footage of us speaking out and be shocked at the dates as they were never aired. This muslimah speaks out against it, and I invite anyone else to join me.

It was a lot easier for the Priesthood to control the masses

Was it a good move that it was translated into a common launguage or not so much ?
