Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Gal 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Gal 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Gal 5:26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

When you actually read the bible, and read what jesus said, I think he'd lean more towards the left. Things like turn the other cheek, and that it's easier for a camel to walk through the eye of a needle then a ritch man to get into heaven are against the republican platform. I've just always wondered why Christians are not more split between the two parties.

When ever I have written about Jehovah Witness I get very strange but Interesting answers. I am told I do not know what I am talking about. Having strange relationships with Jehovan Witness I can say the following, which will bring in response that I have no idea what I am talking about. But to question is to bring out the worst in people. In other words I do not give a d----.

The Witness say that Jesus was not to put to death on a cross. Having looked into this matter. Having read having talked, and having not looked at that pice of fantanice the NT. I find that Jesus was put on a cross. Historic evidence shows that. Read and understand I say.

Lets talk about NT. NT is a pice of fantanice developed by PAUL who went on to pay a few men to write this very interesting work. Prove me wrong? You can not!! Why do Jehovah Witness go on believeing this work of a NUT who could not stand the Jews, or the fact that JEsus was a Jew.

I love what Jesus taught. The peace, love, understanding part. I was just meaning that since he knew all the scriptures and prophecies, he knew what was expected. Like when Jesus said "Let righteousness be fulfilled" and rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, because this was a prophecy. If someone knows what is expected, how can it be trusted. Wouldn't prophecy be more believable if the subject didn't know about the prophecies? People who know what has been foretold would just have to do what has been said.

Old Testament:
Proverbs 6:25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.(Job 31:1)
New testement:
Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

OT:
Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

NT:Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

My point:

Pretty much everything Jesus taught can be backed up using the Jewish scriptures.

the first conversion is to accept Christ as your lord and savior througth the holy spirit, and the second conversion is repentance, giving up our sinful life in exhange for saintly life. I believe the second conversion is something that we continue to work out our whole lives. comments??
