For the record, I am out of the partisan politics game and I am a registered Independent! I am a born again Christian! I was a Democrat and Republican! Both parties have missed the mark as far as I am concerned! I am glad I am not a member of either party anymore! Please don't stereotype all of us! There is hope for the Democratic party in the form of the Blue Dog Democrats! They are more like your Grandmother's Democratic party! I am starting to like some of what I hear from them!

Because the Democrat Party is more blatantly anti-Christian. The Republican Party is more subtle in its attacks on Christianity. Of late, it claims to be a "friend" of traditional Christianity.
In truth, both parties are controlled by the same special interests at the top.

Don't believe this Republican lie! I am a Democrat and I am a Christian! The Republicans have sent this message out that they were the Christians! Being on the "Right" and placing Democrats on the "Left." We know that God places all good to the right and all bad to his left.

Not a clue. Probably because there are more fundi leaders in the Republicans than there are in the Democrats.
Really wierd, I know. The Democrats seem to fit so much better with Christian ideals. But Christians have always been known to be "follow the leader" types.

Of course Jesus would lean to the left, he practiced and preached a form of communism.
In my experience, few Christians read the bible and if they have they certainly don't understand it or practice it.
