I see Christians being asked for proof all the time but no one seems to mention it...do you know what I'm thinking it is?
What is the one thing that proves the existence of Jesus or that he is the son of God that the atheist have no way of explaining away?

According to the following link:

http://www.hinduismtoday.com/archives/1992/09/1992-09-02.shtml

the gayatri mantra, unlike other religious and worship activies, does not pertain to "faith" and the belief in "god" but proven scientific results. The gayatri mantra has been scientifically proven to engender supernatural results.

Should the gayatri mantra be classified as part of science and should it be better utilised to combat India's environmental and poverty related problems?

If they're so proud of what they're doing, why do they hide like cowards? And that decapitation video was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen a 'human' do to another human. What the hell is wrong with islam?

I
preached about the “Authority in the Church”.
Jesus gave a ministry unto the church to pastor the body, because we can’t pastor ourselves. When we get saved, we have to submit ourselves to the ministry. You can’t just submit to Christ, and not His Body.
Mt 7:29
People in Jesus' time were used to reasoning about the scriptures, much like a lot of people do today. They like to pick their favorite preacher, one who agrees with their opinion, pets them, and is always kind to them. Actually our favorite preacher should be the one, that doesn’t understand us.
Jesus taught with authority and he is able to give authority to others. Those chosen people are supposed to teach, preach or sing with authority. If you are not sure what you do or don’t know if you’re able to, you should just not do it.
1Co 12:28
Jesus gave gifts to the church, a government, where He sets the members. He doesn’t ask you or anybody, He just puts the members, as it pleases Him and we have to be obedient,

"And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh."
Ephesians 2:16-17

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law."
Matthew 10:34-35

This is not intended to be a mockery. However, one can see Very Clearly that there are various inconsistencies throughout the Bible. How then, can one consider the Bible, word of God ?

I am sad to see people all around the world - especially our top 'thinkers' in our universities moan and whine about people not having - or not having enough - rights to practice religions.

What about the freedom of NOT having to practice any religions? The freedom to embrace logic over superstition?

The general PC crowd love bitching about why certain religious immigrants are unable to practice their religions, but they close their ears and shut their eyes towards the plights of apostates around the world - especially in Egypt, Malaysia and Afganistan.

Heck, we even have a US president who said atheists don't belong in his country.

Somehow, the rights and respects of atheists are a lot lower compared to religionists - even the bloodthirsthy ones.

What are your thoughts on this people?

Is earth heading for disaster? Everythig seems to point in that direction. It is like a train on tracks and nothing will be able to stop it. Man will eventually self distruct but, will this be the end, and if so what is the general opinion as to how the earth will come to its end? Try and have some case law or point of reference, for this is not a joke.

What made you decide to accept Christ and (possibly) abandon an earlier faith? How do you feel about God's demand to place him above your friends and family? How does God show himself in your life? Do you feel included as a part of a church family, or do you mainly practice your faith on the outside looking in? Was it hard to accept Christ while most of your friends were athiest/of your former faith, and do you remain friends with them or did they leave you? I'm sorry for so many questions, I'm just an agnostic who's been feeling pulled lately.

I asked this yesterday and got few responses. Maybe it had to do with the time I posted.
Mt 19:16-24 has always bothered me. I am not trolling; I really want to know how Christians justify this.

A man asks Jesus how to get to heaven. Jesus replies:

“‘If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.’
‘Which ones?’ the man inquired.
Jesus replied, ‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother, and love your neighbor as yourself.’
‘All these I have kept,’ the young man said. ‘What do I still lack?’
Jesus answered, ‘If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.’
When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.” [NIV]

(This story also is retold in Lk18:18-23 and Mk 10:17-22, with minor changes. It is from this story that the famous “camel through the eyes of a needle” analogy comes.)

This is something that has been really confusing me for a while. I know that by the Holy Ghost Christians mean the Angel Gabriel. But The Father, The Son confuses me because as far as I know (I'm actually Muslim) Christians consider Jesus Christ to be the son of God, but then I heard that some believe he IS God. So which is it really? Like do you believe that Jesus Christ is God or that he is the son of God and that he has a father who is God?

I mean you at least have Judaism, Catholic, different Christian sects (seems all Christian sects do not see Catholism as Christianity), Islam. Does this mean that some are more loyal to some and not to all members of God's kingdom?

NOOOOOOT!!! Hahahahhahahahaha! I couldn't care less what you religious people think but I knew you were gullible enough to look at that question and you probably did think I care, because you're also gullible enough to take up whatever religion you decided to take up. Anyway, I am gay and the day I change that for any of you religious people, is the day anyone can walk on water without falling through. Anyway, I'll be glad to read all your responses, but I'll forget what you said as soon as I finish reading them anyway. :)
