Since we have a self-appointed Mayor, without an election (Hmm, I thought that's what a Dictator was...) Anyway, I would like to nominate Acidic as an elected...King! Who's with me?

The name witch was given to condemn those who were not christians... and worked with Energy.

In Hinduism, witch-craft is part of left handed path of Tantra...working directly with Energy (Mother Shakti).. Those who do it for bad were called Chudail (like witch)..

Those who do it for love and control are called Bhairavi (goddess in hinduism)

Do u like the name Bhairavi or suggest another name for you ??

I say yes. She is a horrible piece of crap. She preaches hate and takes it straight from the bible. She is one of the most ignorant pieces of human crap we have on the planet. I'd rather have my kids raised by Sadaam Hussein than her. It should be a lesson for anyone who wants to take the bible seriously - this is what happens. You end up like a crazy witch spewing hate. She says that people who don't beleive the way she does go to hell. OK Christians - this is your time to redeem yourself. You believe the same way (maybe not the same thing - but the same way) End your ignorance and realize that religion is a crutch for the weak minded. The bible was written by men. It was NOT the divine word of god. And religion is dangerous - as proved by religious extermism. And I'm not talking about muslims necessarily - christians have done more damage to humankind (the crusades ring a bell?) Those people thought they were right - just like you do.

"And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again."

odd way to perform miracles, wouldn't you say?

Also:
"When Elisha reached the house, there was the boy lying dead on his couch. He went in, shut the door on the two of them and prayed to the LORD. Then he got on the bed and lay on the boy, mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, hands to hands. As he stretched himself out on him, the boy's body grew warm."
2 Kings 4:32-35

does anyone else feel slightly uncomfortable reading this?

time, but then came home the next day to find their wife in bed with someone else and killed them both. then he kinda " lost it ", and instead of turning hmself in became a fugitive and had to commit sin after sin to keep from getting caught, then finally killed a couple of police officers before being killed himself. would this person go to heaven?

The messiah, the bible predicts, would be a great-great-great (etc) grandson of david.

And the gospels list Joseph as having been in the line of david...but not Mary.

But if God was the father of Jesus....

Then Jesus was not from the line of David.

I hear people talk about all the contradictions in the bible and it occurrs to me that they have a very shallow understanding of what the bible teaches...

Would you give a cursory glance to a Physics textbook and then dismiss the entire science of Physics based on one or two principles that you don't understand how they fit together?

If not, then why do it with the Bible and religion?

Is this the best use of your time? Shouldn't you be out visiting the sick, orphaned and widows? Shouldn't you be working in the soup kitches? Shouldn't you be setting an example for us?

I guess it is easier for you to sit on your lazy ___ then to do the real work of God...
