He never said it any where, he worshipped God on earth, it says Son of God , Not God, and the trinity is false because it is no where in the bible it is a church teaching that got the source from no where

Why does the New World Translation insert the word Jehovah in the New Testament when there are absolutely no Greek manuscripts that have it in there? Isn’t this playing with the text?

God created the world in 6 days, but "a day for God is like a thousand years".

On day 7 God rested. Which means he rested a 1000 years. Humanity seems to be 6000 years old, which means we are in Gods day 7 again.

Should we have a 1000 year Sabbath now?

If he were to requrie long term care, and could not make the decision on his own...I would not be able to make that decision on his behalf...if he should die...we could be required to split our assets and give half to his family...

Gay or straight, sin or no sin....is this right? Considering we have built a life together...for 17 years..we know each other better than anyone else would...

Do you not think we should have some kind of legal rights?

Wouldn't basic humanity and decency say, to afford us some rights?

A rainbow is caused by dispersion of sunlight as it goes through the raindrops.

However, a rainbow is also God's gift to us, it seems to be His promise to never flood the earth again. Luckily He only breaks that promise in a few minor incidents, like Katrina. God is a loving God who almost keeps His promises.

But if rainbows only appeared after the flood, what did the sunlight do before the flood? It just avoided the raindrops? Or it never rained?

In your opinion, what is the biggest obstacle in getting people to come to God?And helping people to stick with God?

Me personally,the mojority of problems seem to happen when the word of God is butchered and misunderstood becuase either people dont understand what they read or the read one part and assume they understand, and later read another part that on the surface seems to contridict what they read previously;but in reality the two are not separate but go together.Unfortunately they never make the connection or get understanding;so instead of working through it to understand;they take the easy road which is to just give up.

Again, in your opinion what do you believe to be the biggest problem and obstacle in getting people to come to God and understanding Him?

I am a Christian, there is no doubt in my mind that when I die, I will go to heaven. I am also gay....

Fundies on this site, continue to tell me that I am going to hell...they have stolen my religion from my life...but, they cannot steal God from my heart.

Do fundies think they are God..for they think they can see and know my heart...isn't this blasphemy for them to pretend they are all knowing...essentially, calling themselves God?

Are fundies the anti-christ? Because they are truly turning people away from church, and essentially away from coming to know the peace and love that God gives them.

and wake up early so you could make it to work on time only to find that the "blizzard" wasn't really coming and you could have actually slept in a little cuz there was no traffic??

I am a drama queen..and God is delivering me from this! He is doing it by witness. I have been witnessing to others lately, but by gosh, I just felt this morning, its not all about ME, ME, ME.. What has God done for you lately? What character defect is HE changing, how are you growing? What was the trick to letting him into your life and helping him change you? Do you believe it is Him through the Holy spirit changing you, or do you believe YOU are changing you? I need some joy, so spread some on over here! Revival people?

Is God a myth to make human kind believe in something beyond themselves and be scared to commit crimes such as adultery?
Is God real? Is the belief that God exists real?

Why do we believe in God what makes it seem so real?

The translation 'Whole world' used in English versions of the Bible is nonsense. No one in the Middle East several thousand years ago could speak with any authority about North America, Australia or anything much beyond the horizon that his own eyes could see.

Is it illiteracy? Lack of reading comprehension. This seems to be a common problem with American Christians.

If you read a two thousand year old book, and one of the statements that the book makes is that something is going to happen in the immediate future, that is our past. It either happened or it did not, there is no possibility of it happening 'immediately' a few dozen centuries later.

If you read a book from Norway written in the 8th century and see words that are translated as 'Whole World', try to remember that their 'whole world' was a very small place and consisted of only the lands that they had visited while raping and pillaging. It doesn't mean they were referring to China.

I am talking about more than locker room talk. They words such as F___, B___, P___; I mean just plain nasty, degrading and upsetting to women. They talk this way in the library, on the streets, any place they can get away with it. Their mental thinking regarding the opposite sex is garbage or in the gutter. That is what I was trying to ask you about. It upset me and I am a male.
