If you have already organized that actual meeting times, it would probably be a good idea to have an open discussion about the weak points in the young adults' spiritual lives. That way an organized study can be set up, whether it's general scripture study, or a group study of certain topics, or even the work of one theologian.

I think that for a first meeting, the most important thing is to unite the group, so something more breezy and "get to know you better" is best, like ice breaker games, or ice cream, or make-your-own pizzas, or maybe even going bowling (if funds allow)...before young adults will be willing to get real and personal, they need to feel connected to each other, which takes a little time. Also, you'll appreciate the chance to get to know each of them in the process. Games and semi-structured activities (like sundaes) are good means to provide a safe, fun environment for introductions.
Good luck, and your group will be in my prayers!

because people at church your age are strange to begin with "sorry" the ones in the 20s that are highly religious. most people (18-24) or at parties. drinking and having sex.. that's what the main interests is at that age.. but when you are in group such as christian (if that is what you are" most will fallow the bible and might even think they are Godlike" so they have no need to talk to others if the same age.. or maybe they are brain washed into some kinda cult.. if i was you i would not try to become friend with people from church. unless they are hot and single.. other then that no

An ice cream sundae bar, and "icebreaker" of some sort to begin interaction among the group and a talk to convey your vision/purpose for the group.

We did the personality color code test one time for a singles activity, it was such a great ice breaker. I would highly recommend it.

Give everyone a science book, then they could decide for themselves what is truth, and what is fiction. Good idea?

Bible study. The way you start will dictate your focus onwards.
