The idea of Christianity and Islam that people will burn in hell forever simply for not believing the "right" thing.

I say this in all kindness. Just because you believe something this does not mean others want to believe in it also. You are acting as bad as the Jahovah Witnesses with you pushing your beliefs down our throats. I am Agnostic and I am because I believe this: We do not know all there is about life,how can we begin to know all there is about death?This is not a religios belief but my thoughts after considering many religions and even being an Atheist at one time

I don't dislike religion. I see it in it's historical context. I just may have problems with the humans who try to control me by waving the 'damnation and hell' stick. It just does not work.

I dislike that some churches aren't sound in doctrine..examples: using the niv, believing the pastor can't be married, that God is an indian giver and will take back His gift of salvation.
