Actually - In John he does say that he is God's son. He says that he and the Father are one. He later goes on to claim again that he is the Messiah in the sense that Paul had introduced - as Divine savior. Which is an idea that is completely alien to the Jews then and now.

The Trinity, Christians claim is all through the bible. In the begining of Genesis - there is a plural form of God used with the verb in the singular. Christians claim this is the Trinity. The Hebrew, I believe it is Elokim, is also used to describe humans as God's representive on earth as with Moses in Exodus. Christians claim that this word means the Trinity - so I guess Moses was the the Trinity also!

Most of the proofs that are used do not actually support Christianity. They are taken out of context and many are not even prophecies - let alone Messianic prophecies.

So while in John Jesus claimed he was Divine and the Son of God there are still problems with the claims of Christianity.

The bible clearly states in the book of Isaiah who the Messiah was. The bible says that the WORD was made flesh. Who is the Word, God is the Word. Who is the Living Word, Jesus is the Living Word.

The Bible also says that the Messiah was called Mighty God , in Isaiah. the bible says that the Messiah was also called Everlasting Father. This book teaches who the Messiah was and that he was God.

As Jesus lived He was the son of God, but when Jesus resserrected the bible says that He and the Father became ONE.

I dont agree with the title of the trinity either... that imply's 3. I believe that God is ONE being, who is the father, the son and the Holy Spirit. He is the Everlasting father, who always was and will be, the son who was manifested to flesh and who lived on earth and the holy spirit who is the comforter, that was left in the earth.

You're right that the trinity isn't mentioned (I'm pretty sure you're right) but a lot of places in the Bible, God refers to himself as "we." Which is where we get the trinity thing. There's a lot more to that, but I'm not going to go into it on here. I'm sure someone else will though :-)

although, if you're a Jehovah's Witness, you probably know this argument well, so I'm kinda answering this for no reason, huh?

John 1:1 says that “the Word was God.” John 1:14 says that “the Word became flesh.” This clearly indicates that Jesus is God in the flesh. Acts 20:28 tells us, "...Be shepherds of the church of God, which He bought with His own blood." Who bought the church with His own blood? Jesus Christ. Acts 20:28 declares that God purchased the church with His own blood. Therefore, Jesus is God!

This thinking is typical, coming from a Jehovah Witness. A religion that needs its own widely discredited version of the Bible to line up with their error-prone doctrine.

Jews sought to stone Jesus for claiming to be the eternal.
John 8
“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”
Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?”
Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Jesus says that He and the Father are ONE (heis in Greek which means literally the number 1) Jews seek to stone Him for claiming to be God incarnate.
John 10
"I and My Father are one."
Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him.
Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?”
The Jews answered Him, saying, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God."

Jesus does not rebuke Thomas for calling Him God, but rather promises a blessing to those who would believe later.
John 20:28
And Thomas answered and said to Jesus, "My Lord and my God!"
Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

Jehovah Witnesses came to my door and could not answer these simple questions...

Who is the First and the Last? It is YHWH...

Isa 41:4 Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I YHWH, the first, and with the last; I am he.
Isa 48:12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.

Who is the First and the Last? It is YHWH and His Redeemer

Isa 44:6 Thus saith the YHWH the King of Israel, and his redeemer the YHWH of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Who is the First and the Last? It is YHWH it is Yeshua, the Redeemer, the Almighty.

Re 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Re 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last:
Re 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Re 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
Re 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Re 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Hi.

I have myself asked this question 12 hrs ago "Where can we find Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jacob, and Joseph praying to Trinity? Were they unaware of how to pray God and how God was?"

And no one could prove me from the OT that Jesus is God and Trinity is right.

Peace.

It's actually very easy....first you form the word "Jesus" then the word "is" then the word "God". If you mean how can one believe it...that's a whole different kettle of fish.

Well....since your "group" perverted the Holy Scripture by changing the words to say things that never existed anyway....there's no explaining anything theological to you.

You are deep into a non-Christian cult and need serious help to get out.

The bible contradicts itself. You can find verses to support both your religion, and the religions of those who think jesus is god.

I guarantee you people can quote you verses to support them, just as you can quote verses to support your position. And just like you feel they are misinterpreting the verses they use, they think you are misinterpreting yours.

It's the Christian disease. The complete inability to look through another's eyes.
