13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. KJV
Okay ...... the Old Testament ordinance from God says that gay sex (man with man) and lesbian sex (woman with woman) is an "abomination" in God's eyes and it earns a physical death-sentence for those who choose to continue in that life-style.

Rom 1:24-27

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

The Bible consistently tells us that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). Romans 1:26-27 teaches specifically that homosexuality is a result of denying and disobeying God. When a person continues in sin and disbelief, the Bible tells us that God “gives them over” to even more wicked and depraved sin in order to show them the futility and hopelessness of life apart from God. 1 Corinthians 6:9 proclaims that homosexual “offenders” will not inherit the kingdom of God.

there are several Old testament ..actually many old testament scriptures and a few in the New...I will post from the new...you will have to read the majority of it yourself...it is a large body to post...but I will give you where and how men turn to homosexuality...From Romans 1st chapter....
21. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23. And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25. Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

This isn't the totality of it butthis is the main body that let's you know where homosexuality starts ...and how it is not a chemical imbalance..but the lusts of mens hearts that cause them to turn from God and choose to do evil..God bless

i'm no longer a fundamentalist, so as which you would be able to no longer believe my reasoning, yet i will attempt anyhow. you shouldn't use the Bible to look down on human beings. it is not what God needs you to do with it. definite, you have some verses interior the Bible that condemn homosexuality. yet i'm specific you have observed that Jesus in no way mentions it. i think of he could have, if he needed us to look down upon others for being gay. "Love the Sinner, hate the sin?" That sounds incredibly convienent to me. have you ever long gone to a gay guy's funeral the place his lover is skipped over, as a results of fact the survivors are loving the sinner and hating his sin? i'm praying for you.

I don't know where it is, but allegedly it's one line in the bible that says something to the effect of, "A man shall not lye with another man as he does with a woman" because it's an abomination or some such thing.
IMO - one line does not justify condemning an entire group of people or preaching hate against them. It's almost like those Christians who do condemn homosexuals missed the more repeated (i.e. obviously more important) messages of forgiveness, love, and peace and dwell on the one negative line... It's like sanctioned hatred.

Leviticus says that homosexuality is an abomination, along with shellfish.
Strange you don't see Jerry Falwell picketing the local Red Lobster, isn't it?
Religious injunctions against homosexuality are still bigotry.

In Romans Paul tells us not to judge because we all are no better, but when I see people saying outright that Homosexuality is God ordained I have to disagree.
I know we are all sinful, and that is why Jesus came to die, but I cannot sit quietly while the gospels are contradicted.

Jesus who said to the woman taken in adultery, “Neither do I condemn thee,” speaks these same words to the homosexuals who come to God by him. They too have been hated and stoned by the religious Pharisees just as surely as was the woman whom they caught in adultery and whom they cast at Jesus’ feet for judgment. Jesus speaks the same words to the homosexual as He spoke to the woman taken in adultery, “Neither do I condemn thee, go and sin no more.” Jesus forgives the sin of fornication, but He does not give any a license to continue in fornication. Jesus forgives adultery, but He does not give any a license to continue in adultery. Jesus forgives the sin of homosexuality, but He does not issue any a license to continue in homosexual practices, He gives all who accept Him the grace to do His will!
The cleansing power of the blood of Jesus Christ can cleanse from all sin, and that includes the sex sins of sodomites, homosexuals, and lesbians. The power of the ever present Holy Spirit can transform and re-create lives so that the sins of the past do not hold dominion of the Christian’s present or future.
Some had been effeminate (homosexuals), and some had been abusers of themselves with mankind (sodomites), but they were washed, cleansed, changed! They were living demonstrations of the words that Paul wrote in II Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.”
