This is not worded clearly, but to suggest that a person chooses the place of their birth before they are born is rather silly, to say the least. From a historian's perspective, the two sources (Matthew and Luke) which tell about Jesus' birth in Bethlehem provide completely incompatible information. Jesus was generally known as Jesus of Nazareth, which suggests that that is where he was actually born, with the tradition of birth in Bethlehem being an attempt to apply certain Jewish Scriptures to him.

"One cross three nails" nailed it (no pun intended), except it's found at Micah 5:2. However, there's one other reason: the Hebrew word "Bethlehem" means "House of Bread." Jesus is the Bread of Life, so it makes sense that He'd be born there.

Whether the Lord told them to or not, the Romans decreed this, as Bethlehem was Joseph's place of birth, and he and Mary had to return there by Caesar's decree to be counted in the great Roman census.

Are you really as ignorant as you sound? Choose his birthplace? Most Christians who aren't afraid to look deep into their own faith know that he was not the son of any "god". He was a man - with a decent message. His message was flawed in some ways - but the majority of the flaws came because his words were penned decades or centuries after he said them. You and I can't even get a story correct that was told to us two weeks ago. With each retelling - the story changes. But somehow this story is the devine word of god? Crap. Total crap.

he chose to be among jews. Coz they r the ones who'd deny to beleive in Him though they all belong to the same race & place. When Israliets would believe in Him then the second comming of Jesus is expected to happen.

It was to fulfill prophecy. Not only was Christ to be part of David's lineage, but also to be born in David's town.
