Because there is no way a all knowing God would choose this guy . Surely there is a shoe salesman somewhere akin to David the shepard that God could have selected.

Of course Bush is going to say God put him into power... how else was he going to get elected that second time? And how was he going to go to war with Iraq after stating we would not stop till we found bin Laden?

It's a real shame, but I see how people of other countries have come to think of all of us Americans as idiots. They see Bush and the people that support him, mainly Fundamentalist Christians and think we're all like that. We need an Atheist in there to straighten that image out. =)

The Americans pulled a fast one on thermselves and believe me, they're paying for it. God is just watching the effects of the country's stupidity right now. I'm sure he's shaking his head and saying " I can't believe they did that TWICE.

From what I've seen he pretty much cheated his way into staying in office a second term. I wouldn't be surprised if he cheated in the first place. But then the religious masses seem to love him so what do you expect.
