I see Christians being asked for proof all the time but no one seems to mention it...do you know what I'm thinking it is?
What is the one thing that proves the existence of Jesus or that he is the son of God that the atheist have no way of explaining away?

Well alright maybe I was wrong to post such a question..I mean there are some really good answers here. Like absence of a single day in the timeline...that a really good one I forgot about that. But what I was truly looking for was answered prayer.

Sure the atheist can say some is the result of brainwashing or the power of the mind or even just coincidence...but most can't be explained away and some definitely can't be explained away.

For meTake my buddy for example. His car broke down and needed $1600 to fix it....he had no way to come up with that much money but he prayed to Jesus for help in figuring out how to come up with it. A couple days later he was walking down town when a man came up and gave him and envelope. The man told him he was praying that morning and God told him to make a withdraw from his account and when he saw my buddy God told him to give the money to him. There was $1600 in the envelope. You can't explain those kinda of things away...right!

personally it's wasn't deliverance of addiction. An old pastor told me that once Christ was in your life he would willing break the bandages of addiction...my response was Right like Jesus ever smoke 2packs a day. But I took his word and prayed one night before I went to bed for deliverance and woke up addiction free.
A few prayers answered could be coincidence...a hundred more? No way...that's more proof than anyone could possibly ever argue.
Thanks

the mysterious absence of a single day in the timeline. They know for all scientific purposes that at the death there is a day missing but they can't explain why. Proof

you have said 5 hours earlier that it is answered prayer,
thats a personal proof
but many athiests have rebutted that proving the faith componant of many replies
a bit worried about the ''or'' in ''proves the egsistance of jesus or'' [and?]'' that he is the son of god''
which male is not a son [or female not a daughter? ] of the god who made all life to live?
the living god and his chosen intermediator ][between i am and man] would have a living [active componant ] in any tangable unrebutable proof.
no athiest is going to accept answered prayer ,
but as your addendum states your unsure of how to spell ''it''
we await with baited breath ;the proof ''athiest have no way to explain away''

postscript re your temple question
a flesh [brick and morter ] temple has spirit and brick , the brick can be torn down ,but the spirit of it is eternal
it dosnt need rebuilding because in spririt it still egsists
just as jesus said about rebuilding the body same deal for the temple

When I was a sinner, On May 3, 1970 God came into my life & forgave me of all my sins, & I was baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in a little creek, on Aug. 2, 1970, & on July 22, 1971 on Thursday night in a tent meeting, at 10:30 PM. He filled me with his Holy Ghost

I suppose it depends on who answers the question, but I agree with Paul. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. Of course, that usually means little to someone who wants physical proof of biblical truth.

I remember being thrilled over the ossuary of Caiaphas, though...check that one out if you ever get bored.

The number of hilarious responses this question has accumulated so far I consider to be well worth the asking of the question:

Congratulations christian... you have amused me without it being at your own expense.

When are you going to tell them that it is a trick question though?

Well, what I think is that spiritual truths cannot be mixed with physical truths, though they interact with each other at intances.
Jesus says we will be blessed if we believe without seeing. This means as we believe, at God's time, the world around us will witness and hear about his power and love. We just need to have faith.
What in summary I am saying is this: People who want proofs that God exist should explore the spiritual realm by believing in Christ and taking Him as their Lord and Saviour.
But God will still act in many ways to prove His identity.
To God be the glory and power,
In Jesus' name,
AMEN.

here is the thing there is no hardcore tangible proof other than the fact we are alive, there are a number of arguments though 1 is that if there are infinate alternate realities & God exists in 1 therefore He must exist in all

du de du du du, *twiddles thumbs, straightens hat and cleans fur* *sighs deeply* "I'll come back later, i have trees to climb and small creatures to kill. it's just that i was so looking forward to this 'proof' and to find out where it's been hiding all these years".

The way that he helps everybody and protect his children for disease and starvation. The way he doesn't let wars and sacrifices done in his name. The way he protects his children from rape and murder.
