The doctrine of the Trinity -- that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are each equally and eternally the one true God -- is admittedly difficult to comprehend, and yet is the very foundation of Christian truth. Although skeptics may ridicule it as a mathematical impossibility, it is nevertheless a basic doctrine of Scripture as well as profoundly realistic in both universal experience and in the scientific understanding of the cosmos.
Both Old and New Testaments teach the Unity and the Trinity of the Godhead. The idea that there is only one God, who created all things, is repeatedly emphasized in such Scriptures as Isaiah 45:18:
The teaching of the Bible concerning the Trinity might be summarized thus. God is a Tri-unity, with each Person of the Godhead equally and fully and eternally God. Each is necessary, and each is distinct, and yet all are one. The three Persons appear in a logical, causal order. The Father is the unseen, omnipresent Source of all being, revealed in and by the Son, experienced in and by the Holy Spirit. The Son proceeds from the Father, and the Spirit from the Son. With reference to God's creation, the Father is the Thought behind it, the Son is the Word calling it forth, and the Spirit is the Deed making it a reality.

God is all three.... the Great Trinity... God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, three in one.
On the basis of the Holy Scriptures, the one true God, Deut. 6:4; 1 Cor. 8:4, is the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost, three distinct persons, but of one and the same divine essence, equal in power, equal in eternity, equal in majesty, because each person possesses the one divine essence entire, Col. 2:9, Matt. 28:19.
Gabriel is just another angel, he just happens to be the messenger that God uses the most. But, in no way is he the Holy Spirit (Ghost). Yes, Jesus was God's son, made man. But at the same time, He was still part of and with God the Father.
I know it can be confusing, but yes, I do believe in the Trinity. God the Father was my creator and is my heavenly Father, God the Son came down and died for my sins so that I might go to heaven, and God the Holy Spirit leads me and guides me in the right path.

The Father is God the Father while the Son is Jesus Christ who is the Son of God and the Holy Ghost is the spirit of God that is within man.
They are not equal in power. God the Father is higher than the Son of God while the Son of God which is Jesus Christ is higher in category to the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit of God.
Jesus Christ is also God because He is the Son of God according to the bible.

Christians don't believe that the Holy Ghost is Gabriel.
Gabriel is an Arch angel, one of three mentioned by name in the bible (Michael and Lucifer are the other two). Gabriel was known as the messenger angel (He came to Mary, Zechariah, etc). and Michael is known to be the warring angel (He contended with the prince of Persia in Daniel, also over the body of Moses, and he's mentioned in Revelation).
There are two beliefs in the Christian body concerning the connection between Jesus and God. Some people are 'oneness' and some are 'trinitarian'. I believe in the Trinity, so I can only answer from my point of view. By Trinity, I mean that I believe that God the Father is the Ultimate Creator of Heaven and Earth. I believe that He gave His son, Jesus, to die for the sins of the world. I also believe that there is a Holy Spirit (Jesus mentioned this to his disciples before he ascended) that is sent as a comforter to man.

"You alone, Jehovah, are the God above all other gods in supreme charge of all the earth." (Psalms 83:18)
"One of the teachers of religion standing there listening, to the discussion [between the Sadducees & Jesus], asked Jesus, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important? " Jesus replied, "The one that says, 'Hear O Israel! Jehovah our God is the one and only God. And you must love him with all your heart, and soul, and mind, and strength. The second is: 'You must love others as much as yourself.' No other commandments are greater than these." Mark 12:28-31, see also Luke 10:25-27
Jehovah's Witnesses believe what the Bible itself teaches. We believe that Jesus is God's Son, and that there is no trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Also, that the Angel Gabriel is just that... not the holy spirit.

By "the Holy Ghost", Christian do NOT mean the angel Gabriel. The Bible teaches that God is a single being who manifest himself in all three realms of human experience.
In the Bible, when it descripts God's creation of man, it says that He made the 1)body from the elements of the earth, He breathed into it a 2)spirit, and then man become a living 3)soul. There are three parts to man.
Each part is just as much "him" as any of the others. Each part functions in a different realm. The body touches the physical realm. The soul controls the mind, will and emotions. The spirit communicates in the heavenly with God. Three different "parts" of a single person that each operate in a different realm.
God manifest himself in each of those realms. He resides in the heavenly realm in spirit form, and is called God the Father. But He also came into the physical realm for a time in the form of God the Son (Jesus Christ), and He dwells within the hearts (spirits) of those who believe in him in the form of God the Holy Spirit. Three different "parts" of the one God, each operating in a different realm.
Was Jesus the Son of God, or God the Son? The answer is - both. He was God himself who for a season came into the physical realm, physically born with God the Father as his literal, physical father. The apostle Paul explains it in Philippians chapter 2, verses 5-11.

The Holy Trinity is made up of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.
God is the Father in Heaven.
Jesus is God who came to earth as a human. God is Jesus' father and Mary, a human, is His mother. Jesus lived on earth for 33 years and was without sin. He was the perfect, pure and holy sacrifice and he died on the cross for the sin of all mankind.
The Holy Ghost came down to earth when Jesus went to Heaven. That is why God is with us always as the Holy Spirit.
I know this is a hard concept to understand. Even scholars debate it. For a weak comparison, consider water. It is one thing, yet it takes on three different forms - liquid (water), gas (steam) and solid (ice).
