My friend is Methodist, and I'm Catholic. I know all about the Catholic faith, absolutely nothing about the Methodist faith, so what are the differences?

Quick history: I was baptized Catholic as an infant, received Holy Communion but was never confirmed. I refused to go through because I did not want to follow Catholicism. My husband is in the same situation, baptized but never confirmed, didn't believe. He was previously married outside of the Catholic church to a non-Catholic woman. They are now legally divorced. She was unfaithful to him if that makes a difference. We had a civil wedding ceremony when we were married outside of any church. Now I am thinking of returning to Catholicism and if I do so would like to remarry in the Catholic church if my husband will agree to it. So here is my question: Does he need an annulment for his first marriage? Does the fact that he was never confirmed mean anything? Or the fact that she was unfaithful? What would/could be used as the basis for his annulment? Thanks in advance!

If the Good News we preach is veiled from anyone, it is a sign that they are perishing. Satan, the god of this evil world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe, so they are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News that is shining upon them. They don't understand the message we preach about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

I am struggling here. Do we die because it is our time and God calls us? If so here is my problem---- If I drink and drive and kill someone in an accident, it was my free will to choose the poor choice of drinking and driving. But if it was the innocents time to go, wouldn't that make my action pre- determined? Then what has happened to free will? The problem is I believe in free will, God gave it to us. Or does God just decide to take( or refuse) us when our mortal body gives out.

Do you believe in God?

NBC this morning had a poll on this question. They had the highest
Number of responses that they have ever had for one of their polls, and the
Percentage was the same as this:

86% to keep the words, IN God We Trust and God in the Pledge of Allegiance
14% against.

That is a pretty 'commanding' public response.

I was asked to send this on if I agreed or delete if I didn't.

Now it is your turn ... It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God.
Therefore, I have a very hard time understanding why there is such
A mess about having "In God We Trust" on our money and having
God in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Why is the world catering to this 14%?

AMEN!

If you agree, pass this on.

In God We STILL Trust

Atheists like to SAY there is no God and they also like to SAY that science backs them up. They say alot of things. Here is one example of what a scientist said; he said that perhaps the universe was created by a baby God since there is so much evil and that the baby God was new at making universes, so he didn't do a very good job.
Here is another one; For no apparent reason something suddenly appeared out of nothing..
Can you imagine? A baby God.
And from nothing came something.
And atheists call Christians stupid?
My question...
Why do Christians think atheists won't give it a rest?

Pagans & atheists are fond of demanding scientific and historical "proof" of the existence of God,but they always focus on Judeo-Christianity. Let's apply it fairly. Since the 1970's there have several attempts to revive the ancient Germanic religion and apparently there are people who take all that stuff seriously. So...where is there any historical evidence that this Odin chap ever existed? Or that Loki? Or any of them? And what scientific proof - let's not forget about that! Where do all our Logical Men of Science go when hipster religions churn up from somewhere? Me,I'm willing to skip the "scientific proof" routine and just settle for historical evidence. So...is there any? So far as I know there is no evidence these entities ever existed at all, what to speak of calling them gods when they disintegrate at the first sign of emerging Christianity, only to re-emerge 2000 years later as minor artifacts of pop culture, mostly California-style I gather. Proof? Evidence? Anything at all?

Yes live with it. You who believe a nut case like Paul, who paid a few people to write this so cool story about the Son Of God. God willed the birth of Jesus, and it was. That is all there is to that. Do not insult GOD and his Messager JESUS, Peace be on him, by calling Jesus the Son Of God. You have every right to say what ever you want, but do not insult a messager. Jesus has a great place in the history of man. Do not tanish it but by running your mouth about a Son of God. God is by himself, he has no SON. Prove to me, not taking the trush NT, if there is any proof in History to support this insult. If this is true dont you think there would be evidence of it other then the trush. There is non. The only proof is that there was a preacher named Jesus, and that he spoke of going back to the old way of the Jewish Religion. I am not burden so you should not be too. That is what he taught not that trush NT.

I'm walking on water, ahead of me was a white clothed figger. So I ran on the water towards him. As I was aproching him I looked down in the water and around me people were swimming away from him afraid. Then I looked at the white clothed mans face, and I saw Jesus. I said Jesus ur in my Dreams. I went to hold his hand, but he would not hold it. A demon spoke threw him and said at least u understand. Jesus was looking into the sky and never looked at me or talked. Then sortly after he turned into a Fowl looking man and we were going down a elevator. He ran out and hung onto 2 woman, I went about talking about Jesus to everyone. A Girl came up to me and, I would not look at her, she made fun of me, when I said Im not aload to look at U cuss Its lust. Then I woke UP , My only dream With Jesus.
any Ideas??
