Sorry to disappoint you, but they probably got along great, Jesus being a perfect child and Joseph being a very humble and holy man.
Thank goodness not every family is disfunctional. ;-)

The only thing mentioned in the Bible about this relationship was that Jesus obeyed his human parents.
