not hypocritical you just did it out of habit. I do it too all the time. God and satan just seem like fictional characters to me. Do you feel the same?

First of all there are Atheists in foxholes!
I know because I am in the Army!
I'm a Satanist and I know a few Atheists in my unit.
As for thanking a fictional God that you don't believe in a God makes absolutely no sense. It wouldn't be hypocritical only stupid!

How would you thank a God you don't believe in? How can you even ask this question since God is non existant to you? Atheist...schmatheist...you just need a little more time. God knows it so He might gracefully grant you a few more breaths.

I say "thank god" quite often. It's a colloquialism that i picked up as a child and cannot shake. I'm not actually thanking any god when i say it... it's just a simple way of saying "I'm extra superliciously glad for that!"

I thank evolution for making me such a wonderful entity.Obviously I am a confirmed atheist.I like doing it in a cornfield knowing that absolutely no one is watching me you know m------- and admire my wonderful physique. Will they let me mention the word masturbate.
