What if you dreamt of the opposite of what you are expecting? For example, at present, my wife is pregnant and of course we're expecting of having a good and healthy baby, and last night I had a dream of my baby I think he is mentally ill, like he is authistic or in that kind. Do you think that God is telling me something? or its just my paranoia?

today my son was being operated on th remove a cancerous tumor from his body, while I was sitting in the waiting lounge the woman next to me started off by asking me why I was there! I told her what was going on and suddenly she says that it is not about my boy at all ! - that this was a test from our lord all mighty ! I was miserable to begin with and answered that I did not find that a very good thing to say ! she said that my child was a tool of god to test my faith and nothing more! I will spare you what I said after that! if God loves us all sooo much why is my child a tool for sick monopoly games? any one who shares such perversion care to elaborate? it made me sick to say the least!

It seems rather odd. What is mean is that the Holocaust is now a required part of the curriculum in public schools across the nation. But the Holocaust was about the atrocities against the Jewishs people by Hitler, a German.
Why do Jewish people hate so many other groups of people?

I'm a Christian myself. And I believe EVERY WORD of the Bible simply because it's God's word! And i believe that Jesus says that it's wrong to be gay...but I understand that a lot of you all will just say to me, "Well they have a right to like who they want to! they can't control who they are attracted to!" Well to you all I say this, "People can like whoever they want to. No one is stopping them. That is their GOD GIVEN right to. But they are going against God's word and they are sinning. They don't have to act on their thoughts. It's as simple as that!" And if you are a true Christian then you should believe EVERY WORD of the Bible also.

Like which is the best translation of the Bible or Is your religion the correct one? Because of this and I know some people just like to come up with "cute" answers, I always go back and pick the winner to my question. It might be scored on when
more "cuties" are on R & S. I rather use my own subjective decision to pick the winner to the quesions I ask.

I was driving home early sunday morning through bakersfield
Listening to gospel music on the colored radio station
And the preacher said, you know you always have the
Lord by your side

And I was so pleased to be informed of this that I ran
Twenty red lights in his honor
Thank you jesus, thank you lord

I had an arrangement to meet a girl, and I was kind of late
And I thought by the time I got there shed be off
Shed be off with the nearest truck driver she could find
Much to my surprise, there she was sittin in the corner
A little bleary, worse for wear and tear
Was a girl with far away eyes

Death - Who has caused more?

Theists point to atheists Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao and more, as causing far more death than *all* religion-based deaths alone.

Atheists point to the Crusades, the Inquisition, Hitler (who killed not just Jews, but socialists, atheists and almost anyone not tightly religiously aligned), Cortez and more.

I know neither side is complete by the above text. Does anyone have some well-researched, real (not Bible-related) numbers? A *link* seems mandatory, to me.

While I enjoy reading all the questions and answers, nothing I read will change how I feel about Jesus. Is anyone out there going to become a Christian or stop being one based on what they read on Yahoo answers?

What happens if somebody is brought up in an athiest family or environment (such as some random tribe) where there are no external factors such as a church to teach the athiest the "truths" about god? So they grow up tottaly unaware of his existence and therefore are totaly oblivious to such teachings and rituals. Do they go to HELL for having no faith?

If so, is this then not unfair? How were they to possibly KNOW that such things existed if there is nothign to show them as such?

BUT, if in turn god treats them fairl and doesn't send them to hell because of the reason that they were unaware of his existence, does this not make it unfair to the Christians who ARE being judged for their actions?

Seems like a flaw in the judgement system of christianity to me!

He is supposed to be a reverend. That means he is supposed to uphold values of Christianity, such as love, forgiveness, redemption. Instead, "Reverend" Al and "Reverend" Jesse Jackson, the other blasphemer, set out on a mission to destroy a fool's livelihood and won. Yet the greasy headed blasphemer can call Jews "diamond merchants", among the other things he's done and not have to live up to the standards he set for everyone else that is not his skin color. Not only is it hypocritical, but outright blasphemy by someone sporting a fake reverend tag and throwing it up when it suits HIS needs. What do you think?
