I was driving home early sunday morning through bakersfield
Listening to gospel music on the colored radio station
And the preacher said, you know you always have the
Lord by your side

And I was so pleased to be informed of this that I ran
Twenty red lights in his honor
Thank you jesus, thank you lord

I had an arrangement to meet a girl, and I was kind of late
And I thought by the time I got there shed be off
Shed be off with the nearest truck driver she could find
Much to my surprise, there she was sittin in the corner
A little bleary, worse for wear and tear
Was a girl with far away eyes

God will take care of you, but running 20 red lights in His honor, is not honoring Him. We honor him and ourselves, by obeying God's law and Mans' law also. If you had been hurt in a wreck, you wouldn;t have been there for your friend. Jesus can take away all the things we think we find pleasure in. Sounds like she had a word or two with Him!! She was probably looking towards heaven, wanting to know why her life had ever gotten that bad. I believe she found her answer. Just be gentle with her, she is like a baby, I hope she is strong enough to keep her faith, Maybe you could be an example for her. Living for God is not all hearts and flowers, sometimes the world tries to drag you back in. Teach her how to stay firm and stedfast. Good Luck to both of you!

All of my radio stations have only sound. If yours are colored I would suggest that you pull the car over and sleep it off.

I suspect that the preacher was not actually speaking about you. Jesus, by contrast was speaking to you when he said:
"I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."

After you sleep it off I suggest you put pride and what people think behind you and open the door. He has been knocking for a long time and will keep knocking and hoping.

better get some profession help fast..
you have issues...maybe some meds and a long rest in a quiet environment. soon you will be going through a lot of trouble if you persist in your ranting and ravings.

Oh driving recklessly and with a blatant disregard for anyone else all in the name of Jesus. Would he just be pleased with that!

I guess if you'd kill anyone with your stupidity you could just say Jesus forgive me and that would make it all better.
YOU ARE IGNORANT!

I saw Joel Osteen praise god for opening a front door for a single mom carrying groceries... So praise it up! To minimize a god is to show his in-existence! Trust me, no God would kill, no god would care about traffic violations.

And did you eventually get to f*** her? That could well be a hallelujah...particularly if she was so piddled that you could put her feet behind her ears and she wouldn't throw up all over you, when you're goin' the "gravy stroke".
