The concept of a god is logically impossible. Why list anything else?

1: All gods in the history of thinking mankind have been invented by mankind. This one is no different.
2: Invisibility. Always a convenient element of any lie.
3: Silence. When was the last time that this god was last heard by more than one person at the same time?
4: Total lack of any evidence of its existence.
5: Just a rather silly idea that should have died out 1500 years ago but is being perpetuated through indoctrination of children unfortunate to have been born to fundamenalist parents.

I suspect that there are many more valid reasons but I'm just talking off the cuff.
By the way, I'm having yet another totally godless day and, so far, just as every other similar day in the past, it's so good.

1. Because we haven't seen him.

2. Because organised religions are too dogmatic and decry each other.

3. In our heart of hearts we know that universal truth has to be one, yet different religions offer different versions and interpretations which leave us perplexed.

4. Because we see too much of injustice in the world and cannot reconcile it with the concept of a benevolent Godhead.

5. But the TOP REASON is - we haven't really paused and thought deep enough. If we did, we would have realised we cannot be the creator or sustainer of this universe or cosmos. The power that is behind all this HAS to be the phenomenon that mankind has termed God.

There really is only one reason: lack of evidence. Since the matter cannot be proven either way, any theory of god is provably useless: no such theory can have any consequences in the real world.
