Free will according to http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/free%20will

Lets deal with facts ...there are many religions around the world and as in industry and pop music there are the top five..
christianity inc catholics led by black skirted paedophiles with 10,000 charges against 4 000 priest in america alone and the pope john paul 2 didnt know??and their side kicks created partly by a difference of opinion about divorce..u cant kill all the wives off
islam who some believe that the almighty gives them the rite to kill
the innocent in the name of god under the guise of religion
secular/non religious /anti religeous/atheists/agnostic.
hinduism
chinese folk religion and buddhism (i grouped these together.as they both have over 370million
Who is right christians have so many different sects as have all the others and all claim to be THE WAY.
But who is really right. If Jesus was on earth 2000yrs ago does this make a mockery of Allah and make Prince Sitthatta (the first buddha) just a legend along with the sun gods and pluto and neptune.

How should we deal with those among us who are not True Believers? Who do not practice what they preach?

And what about those who are so mean to those who Jesus says we should pray for and love....I think it makes Him cry.

If bad people are reborn as animals, isn't this saying that animals are insignificant and doesn't this contradict Buddhisms teachings of respecting all living things?

Problem: God hardens Pharoah's heart and yet punishes him for something God did.

Since Chapter 7 God sends Moses and Aaron to ask the Pharoah to let his people go. But God said " But I will make Pharaoh stubborn. Even though I will do many miraculous signs and amazing things in Egypt, Pharaoh will not listen to you. Then I will use my power to punish Egypt severely, and I will bring my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt in organized family groups."

So then he starts to do the miracles, and each time before the next one is done, he hardens the pharoah's heart, so that he can perform them... sounds like hes messing with Free Will.

After God performs the final miracle, (killing all the firstborn in the land Pharoah ruled) In chapter 13 starting in verse 13, God commands the Israelites to redeem the innocent sons killed in order for their escape to have been succesful.

So here it seems that God can't mess with Free Will cause he couldn't force the Pharoah to let them go,

I just watched this documentary about the Amish. Doesn't seem odd that they consider the outside world to be the work of the devil, yet they count on us to make money? I know they have needs just like us, but if we are really all that bad, why is it okay to make money off of us? Call me ignorant, because I am. I still have many questions regarding this religion.

When I read some of the answers by LDS members I get two complete different stories. One person says that Jesus is the founder of the LDS faith and another says Joseph Smith was the founder of the LDS church. Now I see why the religion is so mixed up. I have a friend in hiding because of the "blood covenant" he took. he fears for his life. If the LDS church is christian why isn't Christ a part of their teachings? Tell the truth but that will never ever happen will it?

What are your religious beliefs, if any and why are they your beliefs?
What influenced your decision, or was it just ingrained as you were growing up?
I really am interested, and it goes both ways, so I will tell about mine first:
I am a Christian (pentacostal) (don't know if I spelled that right...ha ha. I grew up with the religion, but decided on my own behalf when I was 16. Not a very typical age to find myself, but that was it. I love the approach taken because it is loud and outspoken without shame. The attitudes I have encountered with others are all positive and never judging and I like that instant rapport and the feeling I get when I am around them, and I like to think I contribute to that.

P.S
If you don't know what a pentacostal is, just think of the scenes from movies with the SOUL in the church. Not sitting around, but actually participating and making church what it should be. It is usually considered a 'black' church if these characteristics are found...

Why is it when people whoa re determined to go out and disprove Religions end up joining them?

Don't you find it kind of odd? I've known at least five people who have gone out to disprove the claims of Christ, two who tried to disprove Allah, and three who tried to disprove that there was a God at all. They all ended up becoming Religious and on fire for their Religions.

So, this one is for everyone! Why do you suppose people that go out to disprove the claims of Religions and such end up actually end up getting converted themselves? Could it possibly be that some Religions are actually true? You tell me... I'm stumped...

For the people who reply by saying "Maybe it's just because they're all retarded!" or give a somewhat non-existent or non-fulfilling answer, why do you think that?

I have blasphemed more times than I can count. According to Luke 12:10, this sin is unforgivable. "Everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but those who blaspheme against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven."

Doesn't it follow that I am damned to Hell for eternity, and there's nothing I can do about it?

Every person has a god they serve money, lust, porn, pedophiles, serial killers, war mongers, politicians, satanists, the list goes on for eternity. But where will you spend eternity? It depends on the god you serve. Read the bible and see what God has done for you, Ignore the Word of God and see what God does to you. You can get on your knees and claim Him as your Lord now or you will surely be on your face later and acknowledge Him as Lord, when it is too late. I challange you, if you want peace that passes all understanding accept Christ and follow Him. I have and I wouldn't trade nothing for my journey now. If you are interested start with the book of John in the New Testament. God bless.
