Here on this old crappy Earth with Satan? Does he just enjoy seeing us screw up and sending us to Hell? Whats the deal anyway? And why do we still have monkeys?

There was a time temptation and accusations from Satan would leave me overwhelmed. Through prayer those things are no longer as effective. Some may think this sounds a bit much, but I feel like Satan is now using others to do frazzle me spiritually. Some of the things people do are just cruel and unwarranted for no reason. In a lot of ways this is more difficult than dealing with Satan and his mess, because it can leave you feeling ostracized, alone, and betrayed. If you are a Christian dealing with this, how did God help you get through it all. Are there any sermons or articles online that may uplift me?

would have stayed there if they had not eaten the fruit... So did Satan introduce the idea of sin upon mankind, so all humans could go to heaven? Does this really make sense at all.......

This is Jesus’ last message, his last words, the last important instruction for us. This is what we are supposed to do: love one another. Notice that Jesus doesn’t say, “It sure would be nice if you loved one another.” He doesn’t say, “Perhaps you might think of loving one another.” He doesn’t say, “At least, love the people who are nice to you.” He says, “This is a new commandment I give you: Love one another.” That’s that. Instead of the ten commandments, instead of “Thou shalt not,” he says, “Thou shalt love one another.” This is the job description for the rest of our lives. This is the work before us.

So why can't people do what Jesus has told us to do?

Just wanted to say this was my question, but I deleted it at first because Steve P. copied it.
When something bad happens (the holocaust, 9/11, e.t.c.), people tend to ask "Why did God allow this to happen? How could He?" But the truth is God does not "allow" anything to happen. All God does is put people on earth and give them free will and hope that they will make the right decisions. If they choose to make bad decisions there is nothing God can do. He gave people free will and therefore has no control over what people do. People on earth have to choose to make the right decisions in order to achieve eternal life in heaven. Only then can God sanctify all the suffering that they have had to endure while on earth. And in heaven they will also be free of the oppressors who tormented them on earth. So when something bad happens it is not because God "allowed" it to happen. It is because some of the people he has placed on earth have simply chosen to abuse their free will.

Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. People laughed at him when he was building the Ark. I think after all those years Noah became a very strong person rising above the jokes and verbal abuse I hope one of his comments was,"How long can you tread water?" So with the world events that have been taking place, I have a question or a challange to you.How long will you ignore the warning signs that God has been giving us these days. Jesus said that there would be wars and rumors of wars, floods, starvation, earth quakes in many places, mens' hearts failing them for stress or fear. God does not want anything from us but our love and to love one another. I know I will get alot of verbal abuse for this question but as in the days of Noah so shall it be when Christ returns. Choose you this day whom you will serve , as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Read the bible, satan looses but you don't have to be on his team.

This site is full of it and the cloning is beyond a joke,
Swearing, abuse and outright rude,
Do you have fun in doing that?
We are losing a lot of regulars because people are cloning them or just being rude, especially Pangel, why be nasty and cruel to her, when she has done nothing wrong? Same as all the others that are being cloned, they have done nothing wrong

Do you know what love is, if you do why don't you love instead of hate?

Tell me, what enjoyment do you get out of cloning, swearing and being rude?

That guy in O Brother Where Art Thou said he swore his soul to the devil. Is that even actually possible to control where your eternal spirit goes?

The cross is a strong symbol of the Christian faith and the means by which atonement was made between God and humanity. Colossians 2:13-15,Mt. 10:38,Mt. 16:24,Lk. 9:23,Jn 19:17,Acts 2:23,1Cor. 1:17,Gal. 5:11,Gal 6:12,Eph 2:16, Heb 12:2. I know the LDS members have heard this verse in Revelation 22:18-19 "I warn everyone who hears the prophecy of this book: if ANYONE ADDS ANYTHING to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. vs 19 And if ANYONE TAKES WORDS AWAY from this book of prophecy, "God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. vs 20 He (Jesus) who testifies to these things says, Yes I am coming soon." Can the LDS church explain why they do not obey the scriptures in the bible and claim to be christian? Anything that is not of God is antichrist. I would like some feed back from an intelligent and civil LDS member to answer these questions.

Is God asking the Israelites, whom He has just saved from decades of intense slavery, to sacrifice their firstborn son's and firstborn cattle as thanks? Then the scripture goes on to say that they have to buy their the firstborn back or else break the beasts neck? - What the heck does all this mean? Im so confused. (I know that God let these bad things happen to his chosen people so that miracles can be worked in His name, and all will recognize God. But dont you think It's a lil messed up that he's also asking the Israelites to sacrifice their sons because of God's 'grace' to finally do something about the situation...)

I need help understanding these verses, and also the second part of my question (in parenthesis).

Good Luck!

Job 34

31 "Suppose a man says to God,
'I am guilty but will offend no more.

32 Teach me what I cannot see;
if I have done wrong, I will not do so again.'

33 Should God then reward you on your terms,
when you refuse to repent?

The tribulations are when the clock starting ticking again for the end of the world, but there are a lot of opinions on whether the rapture happens before the tribulations, during them, or after. What do you think? -Atheists, I think everyone agrees that you wait till after the tribulations to go to damnation.
