Since pot has one medicinal use - for reducing macular degeneration the first question is clear:are you suffering from this? However, it is also an addictive & mind-altering sedative it poses a grave question - is there not another way of addressing this problem? If your infatuation is really the high (be honest - I'm guessing it is) then its a flimsy self-justification. God says in the Bible "all things are lawful but not all things are profitable" and "let us purify ourselves from everything that defiles the spirit and the body". Is your goal to be holy and like Christ first? If its questionable then I recommend you ask a strong, stable, genuine Christian believer to stand with you in prayer to not be duped by this temptation.

No, I don't think so. People use it for medicinal purposes so if others smoke it it can't be a sin.

In those terms, it is a sin for some, but not others. In and of itself, it is neutral. Your motive, approach and intent makes it a 'sin'. (or not)

Absolutely NOT! It is a product of Nature, of the earth and don't you Christians believe that the earth and everything that is part of it is of "God"? So why would one particular plant be singled out?

Only if you call yourself a Christian. If not, what does it matter? You're still lost for eternity, because we've all fallen from the grace of God.
