it seems giving free will would absolve you of all responsibility. It doesn't.
Maybe god should have created robots instead of humans with free will.
So in a way, giving us free will, would in turn make him responsible for his creation.
That is why religion is a bunch of hogwash.

That's a tricky question. If answer is you, then u may say the same way God is to be blamed for creating us with the free will, bcoz we misuse it.

You haven't specified what kind of attributes have u have given to your robot. Since, u give it the free will and you u know that it may prove harmful to humanity, and u did all this intentionally knowing the wrong consequesnces also, blame goes to you only.

If the robotic fairly has loose will and choses to kill 1000 human beings than truly the robotic is to blame. The question is extremely similiar to if God made a guy and gave this guy loose will, and the guy kills 1000 adult males, who might want to we blame both God or the guy? nonetheless, the guy is to blame because he exercised loose will and God did not intervene like you probably did not intervene with the robotic at the same time as it exercised its loose will.

Just giving free will to a robot would be careless on your part. You would be to blame. You need to give the robot instructions with how it is to function with resposibilities as well as consequences if it doesnt operate right.

But here is the catch; you can't. You cannot give or make free will. If you were able to, you would be God, and in that case, you will be blamed for everything since you are the creator of it all, but that would be ok, because in the end you will know it will all work out and the things you created with Free Will will finally understand.

As soon as you can explain how a robot can have free will, get back with me. The terms are mutually exclusive. If you could actually grant freedom and consciousness to a machine, then it would indeed be responsible for its own actions. They only reason the concept seems strange is that "robot" = "no free will" in the vernacular.

You cannot give the robot free will because you created it without its consent. If the robot knows you created it, then it would be obedient to its creator, thus no free will.

p.s. this is the best question ive answered.

Your question is similar to human and God relationship, God
made humans and gave free will and now they are killing
people so who to blame, God or human? From my point of
view the robot is to blame because the robot can make a
choice and it took a choice to kill, you didnt make to robot
to kill people.

You would be at fault because you can't give free will to a mechanical invention and expect it not to malfunction. Now if you had made a being that is alive on the other hand, and that being was CAPABLE of exercising judgment, discernment, able to choose right from wrong and understand consequences - good and bad, THEN it would be THAT BEING that would be to blame for the choice to kill - not you.

Clearly the people. It is the robot's destiny to rule the earth that you gave to it to rule over.
