The tribulations are when the clock starting ticking again for the end of the world, but there are a lot of opinions on whether the rapture happens before the tribulations, during them, or after. What do you think? -Atheists, I think everyone agrees that you wait till after the tribulations to go to damnation.

The primary Scripture passage on the Rapture is 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. It states that all living believers, along with all believers who have died, will meet the Lord Jesus in the air and will be with Him forever. The Rapture is God removing His people from the earth. A few verses later in 5:9 Paul says, “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” The Book of Revelation, which deals primarily with the time period of the Tribulation, is a prophetic message of how God will pour out His wrath upon the earth during the Tribulation. It would seem inconsistent for God to promise believers that they will not suffer wrath and then leave them on the earth during the Tribulation. The fact that God promises to deliver Christians from wrath shortly after promising to remove His people from the earth seems to link those two events together.

Most of what you will read about the end times are pre-millennial views: the view that Christ's return will usher in a future millennium of Messianic rule mentioned in the book of Revelation before the final judgment. The believers of this doctrine also hold to the notion of a Rapture of the righteous beforehand.

Others hold that there will be only one second coming of Christ, at the time of the Final Judgment.

Then there are mixtures involving the views of the seven year tribulation and whether it is happening now, occurs later, etc.

These doctrines all fall under the general heading known as the study of end times, or eschatology.

For explanations of the various eschatological beliefs see: http://www.religioustolerance.org/millenni.htm

I am a Amillennialist. I believe we are currently living in the Millennium and in the Tribulation period. Events described in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 and in most of the book of Revelation have already happened. To me the Antichrist is figurative and not a real person. I believe that the Kingdom of God is today present in the world through the presence of the heavenly reign of Christ, the Bible, the Holy Spirit and Christianity. Both good and evil continues in the world until the current Church Age ends suddenly when Christ returns to the sky above the earth. Then the Rapture immediately occurs. The Redeemed are transported to heaven where they will adopt spiritual bodies. The rest of humanity will be condemned at this time to eternal punishment. The world will be abandoned. History is no more.

I believe logic and scripture all point to after the tribulation. Much of the tribulation will be an effort by Satan to deceive and destroy the world. for a Christian living in China, North Korea or Sudan today, can it get much worse? I don't think so. we're here to evangalize, not enjoy creature comforts. All conversation I've heard pointing towards pre-tribulation rapture revolves around us not facing hardships. And believe me, over the decades I've heard multiple hundreds of efforts to support this. It fails the muster over a wide variety of levels.
God bless.

From reading of the visual allure events in the Bible i have self belief it is going to take position in the order as you state on your question. some human beings have self belief that there'll be only the single adventure at the same time as Jesus comes. in spite of the indisputable fact that, the bible tells us that Jesus will go back 'for His own' and the 'lifeless in Christ will upward push first' and then others will 'meet Him in the air'. a million Thessalonians 4:16 and 17 it really is what we examine with because the rapture. the 2d Coming is defined in yet in a distinct way at the same time as Jesus will be considered by using absolutely everyone international huge. Revelation a million:17 there'll be no secret in that adventure. After that adventure the tribulation will start up. except you study those bible debts for your self it is going to likely be complicated that you may want to type your own beliefs on how this can take position. you need to also check out those verses. Matthew 24:27, 30 and 31. a million Corinthians 15:fifty one-52 Revelation 19:11-16. the biggest element to undergo in ideas is that Christians have self belief that that is the sacrifice of Jesus (His demise in our position to take our punishment) which will save us. The order is of a lot less value than the very shown reality that he will go back (some human beings will be perfect in this example, others incorrect) and those who've common Him as Saviour will be kept.

I believe Jesus will rapture the church before the 7 year tribulation period begins. After the church leaves the earth, I think the "hindering force" that the bible speaks of, holding back the rise of the antichrist, will then be removed and he will come to power.

You are describing a theology known as 'Dispensationalism,' that dates to the 1820's. It is not supported by Scripture, was not endorsed by the early Church or the Reformers, and is currently rejected by nearly 98% of the Christian population world-wide. My advice is to stop thinking in terms of raptures and tribulations and try to understand the actually meaning of the text.

Before the tribulation (just my opnion). But I do not think it is happening so soon as many on various end-time forum/message boards thought so.

so many different oppinions on pre and post melinialism (hope that ones spelled right) there are many great studies that have convincing arguments on both sides. basically I came up with the conclusion I do not want to be here for those terrible times so I choose pre. not that that changes Gods will. I guess I will have to find out. i did not see the last part of your question about the athiest till now so I will ask you a question. in what way did that statement help to win those people to Christ. do you feel you have gained anything for his kingdom by saying such a thing. God can defend himself he doesn't need us to do it for him.

Those in Christ, according to the Bible, will be raised in the middle of the tribulation. They will not be made to bear more than they can handle.
