Well...Doing nothing can actually be productive (meditation and introspection have lots of upsides), but yes, I suspect that doing nothing for eternity would be pretty boring...but then, where did you get the idea that Heaven is about sitting around on your tookus?

Personally, I'd rather be sent into the depths of Hell to comfort the suffering than to sit in Heaven doing nothing. Still, I suspect that if oblivion doesn't await me after death, any afterlife with me in it will have a lot of creative chaos and busy happiness.

that;s the beauty of heaven no one knows what it is going to be like. Don't think it is boring because it is not God has promised to make it the most funnest evr you will never be bored. You won't even think of bieng bored. But i know what you mean those thought were in my mind too. Just thinking about eternity and living for ever and not dieng.

Doing nothing? That is entirely a wrong impression of heaven. We will be very active throughout eternity. The Bible never i repeat never implies doing nothing in heaven.

Rev..22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every * * month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Healing in this verse means=cure for boredom....something new every Month for an Eternity.

Ruling and reigning with Him at His side over "worlds to come" will be boring? How could that possibly be boring? And unending opportunities to explore all of creation and the life forms that exist throughout this universe... boring?
Sorry, I'm not seeing "boring".

Oh no we won't be bored....think of all the people we'll get to talk to Mary Magdalene, the Apostle Paul...Moses.....the great evangelist Smith Wigglesworth. More people than I can count....I'll be talking and asking questions for at least a couple hundred years.

I think about that all the time. And yes I think it would be boring,I would not want to be at a place that all you do all day is pray and worship someone. Not being able to be with the one you love or be aware of where your love one are. That is not heaven it is hell

yep. What makes life interesting is conflict, risk, striving for goals, and being surprised. I don't think any of those things would happen. It would be like listening to elevator music in a really nice elevator forever.

It's an acquired taste. We're supposed to be acquiring it while we're on earth.
But, no, heaven is anything but boring. Unless... you find spending time with those you love boring?
